As 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us, *"Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart."* Let us not place our hope in science alone but in the One who created all things, including the very cells and genes you mention.
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this matter. Is this desire rooted in vanity, or is it a genuine longing for restoration that honors God? Proverbs 31:30 reminds us, *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."* While this verse speaks to women, the principle applies to all—our focus should be on fearing and honoring the Lord above all else.

Strengthen his faith to know that whether his hair is restored or not, he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image.
