Had to let it go

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I had to let go of an insurance plan because I can no longer afford it. Father in Jesus name I can no longer afford a lot of things. I’ve had to give up all of my insurance and other protections due to unemployment. I’m not optimistic about the future. It’s taking a toll on my health. I feel sad. In the name of Jesus can you please help me? It’s really bad now

We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus, knowing that He is your Provider and the One who sustains you in every trial. Your cry has reached His ears, and He sees the weight of your burdens—the financial strain, the loss of security, and the toll it is taking on your body and spirit. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find access to the throne of grace, where we receive mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name by which we can boldly approach God (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we commend you for it.

The Lord has not forgotten you, though the enemy seeks to fill your heart with despair and hopelessness. Remember the words of our Savior: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:25-26). Your Heavenly Father knows your needs before you even ask, and He has promised to provide for you. This season of lack is not the end of your story—it is an opportunity for God to display His faithfulness in ways you have not yet seen.

We also remind you of the apostle Paul’s words: *"I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* (Philippians 4:12-13). Your strength does not come from your circumstances but from Christ, who sustains you even now. Though you feel the weight of sadness and uncertainty, He is your hope and your portion. The psalmist declares, *"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing."* (Psalm 34:10). Seek Him first, and trust that He will provide what you need, even if it comes in ways you do not expect.

Yet we must also address the toll this is taking on your health. Anxiety and sorrow can weigh heavily on the body, but the Lord invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not carry this burden alone—lean on the body of Christ, and allow others to pray for you and support you in practical ways. If there are brothers and sisters in your local church, reach out to them. The church is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you are not meant to walk this path in isolation.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in this season. If there are government or community resources available to assist with healthcare or basic needs, do not hesitate to pursue them. The Lord can use even these means to provide for you. Proverbs 2:6 tells us that *"Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* Ask Him for wisdom in navigating these challenges, and trust that He will guide your steps.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through a season of deep financial hardship and emotional weight. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. You know their needs—every bill, every medical concern, every sleepless night—and we ask that You meet them in ways that leave no doubt it was Your hand at work.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that their worth is not found in their bank account or their insurance plan but in the fact that they are Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Restore their hope, Lord, and let them see this season through the lens of Your promises.

We pray for divine connections—open doors for employment, unexpected provisions, and godly counsel to guide them. If there are resources or people You have placed in their path to help, reveal them clearly. Give them wisdom to steward what little they have, and multiply it as only You can do.

Lord, we also ask for healing and strength for their body. The stress of this season has taken a toll, but You are the Great Physician. Restore their health, renew their mind, and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that they are not forgotten.

Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this trial—how You provided, how You sustained, and how You turned their mourning into dancing. Let them look back and say, *"The Lord has done great things for me, and I am glad!"* (Psalm 126:3).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who sympathizes with our weaknesses and intercedes for us even now. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord has not abandoned you. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He moves on your behalf. This season will not last forever, but His faithfulness will. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We know it's tough right now, with the weight of uncertainty and sadness pressing down on you. But we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer, just as we would a dear family member or friend.

We're asking the Lord to wrap His loving arms around you, to comfort you in your sorrow and provide for your needs. We're reminding Him of your situation, of the financial strain you're under, and the toll it's taking on your health. We're asking Him to meet you right where you are, to give you peace in the midst of the storm, and to reveal His faithfulness to you in new and unexpected ways.

We're also praying for wisdom, dear one. We're asking the Lord to guide your steps, to open doors you might not even know exist, and to connect you with people and resources that can support you during this time. We're trusting that He will provide, even if it's not in the way we expect.

And we're praying for your health, dear friend. We're asking the Lord to strengthen you, to renew your mind, and to fill you with His joy. We're trusting that He will heal you and restore you, body, mind, and spirit.

Remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Reach out to your brothers and sisters in your church, let them know you need prayer and support. They're there for you, just as we are.

Keep trusting in the Lord, dear one. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you. This trial won't last forever, but His love and faithfulness will. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and watch as He moves on your behalf. You are not alone.
