Guide her back to me for I truly love her not in a lustful way like others would

Beloved of All
Dear Heavenly Father, Guide ### back to me for I truly love and care for her. I am a ship lost at sea without her. She makes me feel found, cared for, at peace, happy and altogether I feel like myself with her. She’s a part of me I can’t lose. Please Father and all that’s holy guide her back to me. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry and the deep longing you feel for this woman. Your words reveal a love that seeks to cherish and honor, not merely possess or indulge. Yet we must first address the foundation of your plea, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we may be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your heart to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord and Savior. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

Now, regarding your request, we must examine the nature of your relationship with this woman. The Bible teaches that love between a man and a woman is most fully realized within the covenant of marriage—a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, established by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are not married to her, we must ask: Are you pursuing her with the intention of marriage, or are you clinging to a relationship that exists outside of God’s design? If you are not yet married, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will for whether this is a relationship He is calling you to formalize before Him. If it is not leading toward marriage, we must rebuke any emotional or physical attachment that does not align with His Word, for even the deepest feelings can lead us astray if they are not submitted to Christ.

The Bible warns us that our hearts are deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9), and what feels like love can sometimes be a counterfeit of God’s true design. If this woman is not a believer in Christ, we must also rebuke any union that would yoke you unequally with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a sacred bond, and it must be built on a shared foundation of faith in Jesus. If she is a believer, then we pray that the Lord would guide both of your steps toward His will, whether that is marriage or a season of separation to seek Him individually.

We also must address the language of your prayer. You say, *"She’s a part of me I can’t lose,"* and *"I am a ship lost at sea without her."* While these words express deep emotion, they also reveal a dependency that is unhealthy. No human being can complete you—only Christ can fill the void in your heart (Colossians 2:10). If you are placing her above God in your affections, we must rebuke that idolatry in Jesus’ name. Your identity, peace, and purpose must be found in Him alone, not in another person (Galatians 2:20).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we may be saved and through which our prayers are heard. Lord, we lift up this brother to You, asking that You would first draw him closer to Yourself. If he does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften his heart to receive You. If he does know You, we ask that You would deepen his relationship with You, that he may find his identity, peace, and purpose in Christ alone.

Father, we pray for this woman as well. If she is a believer, we ask that You would guide her steps and speak to her heart. If she is not, we pray that You would draw her to salvation in Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will for their relationship. If it is Your design for them to be married, we pray that You would prepare their hearts, align their paths, and bring them together in a way that honors You. If it is not Your will, we ask that You would grant them the strength to surrender their desires to You and trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of idolatry, dependency, or emotional entanglement that does not align with Your Word. We ask that You would break any unhealthy attachments and replace them with a holy love that seeks Your glory above all else. Lord, we pray that You would heal any brokenness in their hearts and fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this brother. Help him to see this situation through Your eyes, not just his own emotions. Give him the courage to pursue righteousness, even if it means letting go of what he desires. Remind him that You are his anchor, his refuge, and his strength (Psalm 46:1). May he find his completeness in You alone.

Father, we ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in this season. Spend time in His Word, particularly in the Psalms, where you will find comfort and guidance. Surround yourself with godly counsel—men who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. If this woman is meant to be your wife, God will make a way. If not, trust that He has something better in store. Remember, *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you what you want, but that He will shape your desires to align with His will.

Finally, we urge you to examine your heart for any sin that may be hindering your prayers. Confess any lust, idolatry, or selfishness, and repent before the Lord. *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18). But if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience, and trust that God hears the prayers of the righteous (James 5:16).

Dear friend, we're right there with you, feeling the depth of your longing for her. It's clear that you care for her deeply, and we're praying that God's will be done in your relationship. We know that God has a purpose and a plan, and we trust that He's working even now.

We're lifting up your plea to God, asking Him to guide her back to you if it's part of His will. We're also praying for wisdom and discernment for both of you, that you might understand His path for your lives. We're believing that God will give you the strength to walk in obedience, even when it's difficult.

Remember, our hearts can be deceitful, so let's keep our focus on Jesus. He's the only one who can truly complete us and fill the void in our hearts. Let's trust that He has a plan, even when we can't see it yet.

Keep seeking the Lord, spending time in His Word, and surrounding yourself with godly counsel. He promises to give us the desires of our hearts as we delight ourselves in Him. Trust that He's working even in the waiting.

We're praying for you both, and we're here for you. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, trusting that God is faithful and just. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer and the love you have shared for this precious person in your life. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father. We have asked Him to guide her steps, soften her heart, and draw her back to you, not out of mere longing, but out of His perfect will and the love that binds two souls together in Christ.

If God has already begun to move in this situation—if you’ve seen even the smallest sign of His faithfulness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice with you and give Him all the glory for the ways He is working.

If, however, the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the silence feels heavy, we encourage you to share this request again. We are here to continue praying with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to trust with you that God’s timing is perfect. Your love for her reflects the kind of selfless, Christ-centered devotion that honors Him, and we believe He hears the cries of your heart.

May the Lord bless you with peace as you wait, with hope as you trust, and with the assurance that He is near. We pray that He would strengthen you, comfort you, and make His will clear in this matter, all for His glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
