Need guidance this weekend with much going on and meeting new people through SM about going to a church event together, and or weather to attend this other event that will allow for much needed exercise Jesus What shall I do, need healing as-well and Lord to reverse aging process straighten crooked mouth that happened at dentist office and make all crooked places straight, covered by your mighty Protecting Blood Covering, and quench this horrible thirst please and to rest well with so much pressing on us, amen

We join with you in seeking the Lord's will together in Jesus' name as you face a full weekend with many decisions pressing on you.

We hear your heart asking for clear guidance about whether to meet new people you have connected with through social media for a church event together, or whether to attend another event that would give you much needed exercise, and we bring this before the Lord. We are reminded that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also hold to the promise to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We encourage you to pray and weigh both opportunities before the Lord, to seek godly counsel, and to let the peace of God rule in your heart. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. Colossians 3:15. If the church gathering builds fellowship and encourages your faith, that is of great value, for we are told not to forsake our own assembling together. Hebrews 10:25. At the same time caring for your body is honoring to God, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Ask the Lord which choice brings the most peace and aligns with His purposes for you this weekend, and be discerning about new connections made through social media, testing what is good and guarding your heart while showing Christ's love.

We also lift up your need for healing and restoration. You have asked the Lord to reverse the aging process, to straighten your mouth after what happened at the dentist office, to make all crooked places straight, to cover you with His mighty protecting blood, to quench this horrible thirst, and to grant you deep rest. We stand with you for healing, for He forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. We pray for the Lord's healing touch upon your mouth and jaw and for His restoring power over your body, knowing that even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. Isaiah 46:4. While our outward bodies naturally age, we thank Him that though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16. We claim His promise that He will go before you and make the rough places smooth. Isaiah 45:2 and that every valley will be filled, every mountain and hill will be brought low, the crooked will become straight, and the rough ways smooth. Luke 3:5. We ask Him to quench your thirst, both physical and spiritual, for Jesus said whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again. John 4:14 and if anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. John 7:37. We ask for His protection over you, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in. Psalm 121:7-8. And we pray for rest with so much pressing on you, hearing Jesus invite you come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29. We also remember that He gives sleep to his beloved. Psalm 127:2 and that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not be weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You that You hear us when we call. We ask for clear wisdom and direction for this weekend, that You would make plain which gathering to attend and that You would give discernment regarding new people met through social media, keeping our friend safe, wise, and centered on You. Lead by Your Holy Spirit and let Your peace be the umpire of the decision. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon the mouth and jaw that was injured, straighten what is crooked, ease pain, restore function and appearance according to Your mercy. Touch the body that feels the weight of aging and renew strength. Cover this dear one with the precious blood of Jesus for protection from all harm and evil. Quench the deep thirst and satisfy with Your living water, and grant deep, peaceful, restorative sleep and rest for body, mind, and spirit despite all the pressures. Let Your will be done and let all crooked places be made straight by Your power. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us, and we trust You to carry this burden. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We hear how full this weekend feels for you, with a lot pressing at once and a couple of good but competing opportunities in front of you. Wanting to choose wisely about the church event with new friends and the other event for exercise, while also carrying physical concerns and just needing rest, is a lot to hold.

When everything feels urgent it can help to pause and get clear on what matters most for this particular weekend. You might take a few quiet minutes tonight to write down your main goals - rest, fellowship, movement, peace of mind - and then look at each option against those goals. What would each choice actually require of you in time and energy, and what would it give back? Talking it through with one trusted friend or pastor before the weekend can also bring clarity, and then you can make a simple plan and give yourself permission to stick with it and see how it goes.

For the crookedness in your mouth after the dentist visit and the persistent thirst you mentioned, we encourage you to reach out to your dentist or doctor promptly alongside prayer, so they can check on you and help you get care.

We are praying for you for wisdom and for rest.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your protection and give them clear guidance for these weekend decisions, healing for their body, relief from thirst, and deep, restful sleep. Lead them step by step and give them Your peace as they trust You. Amen.

There are many burdens pressing upon you at once, and the Lord sees them all and invites you to bring them to Him. Our Saviour says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not only after a time of probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus there and then. There is also a rest to be found as you learn of Him and take His yoke upon you, for it is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with Christ. Trust and you shall rest.

For guidance this weekend, ask the Lord for wisdom, for He giveth to all men liberally. If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Seek first the kingdom of God, and weigh these two opportunities in that light. The assembling of yourselves together for the worship of Christ and the hearing of His Word is of first importance, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and the healing power of Christ is present when He is teaching. Exercise and care for the body is needful and good, for bodily exercise profiteth a little, yet it should not displace the gathering for worship if the Lord is calling you there. Pray that He will make your path plain, and that you will walk with prudence and a quiet spirit.

Concerning meeting new people through messages about going together, walk with discernment and keep all such fellowship in the light, in public places and with accountability. Let your conversation be above reproach, modest and Christ honoring, and let any new friendship be tested by whether it draws you nearer to Christ and His people. The Lord makes crooked places straight as we follow Him in faith and obedience.

You have asked for healing, for the mouth that was injured, for thirst to be quenched, and for the Lord to make what is crooked to be straight, and for His protecting covering and for rest. Know that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and that the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and pardon and healing are joined together in Him. When He healed the man taken with palsy, He first said, Thy sins be forgiven thee. Therefore seek above all to be found in Christ, forgiven and covered by His precious blood, for that blood is your true covering and plea before God. Bring your bodily afflictions to the great Physician, asking Him to heal according to His perfect will, whether by His immediate hand or by means He provides, and trust that He who has forgiven your sins will cause all things to work for your good, and will in the end make you whole. He alone can quench both the thirst of the body and the deeper thirst of the soul, for He is the fountain of living waters.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord our God, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our righteousness. Grant to this dear soul wisdom for this weekend, to discern whether to attend the gathering of Thy people or the other opportunity, and to walk wisely before those newly met, keeping heart and conduct pure and pleasing to Thee. Lay Thy healing hand upon the mouth that has been made crooked, ease this painful thirst, and grant relief and restoration as seemeth good to Thee. Thou makest crooked places straight, so we ask Thee to straighten what is disordered and to grant renewed strength. Cover this life with the protecting blood of Christ, keep from evil, and give deep, quiet rest in Christ even while duties press. Cause faith to rise and rest to be found in learning of Jesus, and let sleep be sweet and refreshing. We ask not for our will but Thine be done, and that Christ may be magnified in body and spirit.
