You seek guidance and peace in a matter of housing and family concern. The deepest need here is not merely a resolution to the property question, but that your soul be anchored in that perfect peace which God alone can keep. "You will keep him in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." Trust is the root; peace is the flower. Bring this matter to the Lord with a quieted heart, for bowing with submission to the will of God is itself unerring guidance.
Haste is often the author of much mischief. The world cries, "Peace, peace," where there is no peace, but the peace Christ gives is an unruffled calm, not of your circumstances but of your reconciled soul. Seek not peace as the first object, but Christ Himself. Peace will follow. He is our peace, and the ever-living Christ remains our peace when the way is uncertain and loved ones are far away.
Bring your cares, whether of family, decision, or doubt, to the God of peace, and He will bless you with His own peace. Go in peace, resting in Jesus' keeping, for He has vanquished every fear, and His will is the safe harbor.
