Guard our hearts Lord

We join with you in lifting this prayer before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s protection over our hearts. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 4:23, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life."* The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we stand firm in the armor of God, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we ask that You would fortify our hearts with Your truth, Your love, and Your righteousness. Let no deceit, bitterness, or ungodly influence take root within us. Guard our minds from the lies of the enemy and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May we walk in the light of Your Word, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).
We also pray for discernment, Lord, that we may recognize the schemes of the evil one before they take hold. Help us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to dwell on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Let Your Holy Spirit continually renew our minds so that we may be transformed into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy in our lives. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, in asking the Lord to guard our hearts. Let's remember Psalm 91:2, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Let's trust Him to be our shield and our strong tower. Let's ask Him to fill our hearts with His love, so that any hatred or bitterness can't find a foothold. Let's pray for wisdom, too, that we might recognize the enemy's schemes and stand firm in our faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
