Disciple of Prayer
1. I am struggling with Anxiety which is causing me to smoke, over eat, and spend. I need relief and I need God to enable me to rest in him in everything that I do.
2. For God's hand of protection over my family while I try dive deeper into a relationship with Christ. I pray that he would help me seek him deeper and that I would be given a fresh revelation of who he is and what he wants from me at this point in my life. I would like to get to a point again where he is my first to go person in everything.
3. For favour, protection and advancement for my son who is in the USA playing hockey. That he would be noticed by the right people, and he would be positioned in places where he will experience growth and success.
4. Favour, good standing in all of my relationships; the ability to handle stressful situations with grace and with effectiveness. I do not want people to like me as much as respect me and value the work that I do, and that it be recognized. I pray for advancement in my job, and new opportunities for learning and that whatever is brewing in the background that the Lord would step into every situation and deal with whoever needs to be dealt with. That he would keep my feet from stumbling, and that my supervisor would start receiving excellent reports about me and my work.
5. For the youth and families that I work with that he would call them into relationship with them, and that they would respond to his voice. I ask for others to pray that with each one of them he would place the right people in their lives, and roadblocks for every person that would hurt them or lead them into the wrong path. I pray that he would heal their minds and hearts and their bodies. I pray that he would step into their lives.
6.We are trying to buy a house and I ask that you guys would pray that our house would be ready soon, and that our finances would be ready, and that we would not have any sort of roadblocks when it comes to buying it.
