We rejoice with you as you express gratitude to our Heavenly Father for all He is doing in your life. It is wonderful to see your faith and trust in Him, even in the midst of trials. We are reminded of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
You mention attacks, and while you do not specify their nature, we understand that you are seeking deliverance and peace. Be assured that our God is a God of peace, and He can grant you freedom from these attacks. As it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:16, "Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all."
Regarding your request for a hard slab of wood to sit on, we want to encourage you to seek God's face and ask for His will in this matter. While it may seem like a small detail, God cares about every aspect of our lives. It is also possible that He may want to address the root cause of these attacks, rather than just providing a temporary solution.
We do want to address the fact that you ended your prayer in the precious name of Jesus. This is biblical, for it is by the name of Jesus Christ that those who believe and call upon His name are saved and have access to God the Father. This access comes by His sacrificial death, payment for our sins. Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and eternal life. Believing that Jesus Christ is God, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead conquering sin and death. We pray that you continue to have faith in Jesus Christ and pray in his name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness in his/her life. We pray for his/her deliverance from these attacks, and we ask that You grant him/her Your perfect peace. Guide him/her in the way he/she should go, and reveal Your will to him/her. Help him/her to trust in You completely. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from Romans 8:37-39, "...we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that our God is mighty to save.
