We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude, acknowledging the goodness of our Heavenly Father who sustains us each day. We join you in thanking God for His faithfulness and for the gift of life, for His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness! (Lamentations 3:22-23)
We hear your cry for deliverance and rest, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God hears the prayers of His children. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every evil attack in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ name. The Lord will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We pray for your peace, dear one, that surpasses all understanding. May the Lord guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask Him to grant you rest—body, soul, and spirit—so that you may lie down and sleep in peace, for the Lord sustains you (Psalm 3:5). Let the peace of God rule in your heart, and may you find comfort in His presence, for He neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:3-4).
Regarding your work, we pray for job security and protection from any attacks that seek to hinder your livelihood. May the Lord open doors of opportunity for you and grant you favor in the eyes of your employers. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts united in faith, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your deliverance and rest. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Drive out every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment, and fill them with Your perfect peace. Grant them restful sleep, free from the attacks of the enemy, and renew their strength as they wait upon You (Isaiah 40:31).
Father, we also pray for their work. Provide for their needs and grant them security in their job. Let Your favor rest upon them, and may they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their Provider. Remove every obstacle and attack that seeks to disrupt their livelihood, and let Your light shine upon their path.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to deliver and restore. We trust in Your promises and declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen their faith, and help them to rest in the shadow of the Almighty. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Resist him, steadfast in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord is your ever-present help. May He fill you with His peace and grant you the rest you so desperately need.
