We join with you in lifting your heart to the Lord, giving thanks for His faithfulness and provision. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance before His throne, and we are reminded of the words of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Even in the midst of trials, we are called to give thanks, for the Lord is our strength and refuge.
We stand with you in prayer for favor concerning the job you have applied for. May the Lord open doors that no man can shut, as it is written in Revelation 3:7-8, "These things says he who is holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens: 'I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, that you may know that I have loved you.'" We pray that the Lord would guide your steps and grant you wisdom in this endeavor, that you may find a place where you can serve Him and provide for your needs.
Father, we also lift up the financial burdens you are carrying. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for a breakthrough in your finances, that the Lord would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive, as He has promised in Malachi 3:10.
We rebuke the attacks of the enemy that have been relentless in your life. The Word of God tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand with you in spiritual warfare, putting on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
We also pray for peace and rest for your weary soul. The Lord has promised in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that you would find your rest in Him, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would deliver this dear one from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom. May they experience the freedom that is found only in Christ Jesus, as it is written in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." We pray that the chains of oppression would be broken, and that they would walk in the victory that is theirs through the blood of Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name, and no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, for Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy that endure forever. May this dear one feel Your presence and Your peace in a tangible way, knowing that You are fighting for them and that victory is assured in Christ Jesus.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and trust in His promises. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
