We join you in heartfelt gratitude for the incredible gift of Jesus Christ, who rescues us and dwells within us by His Spirit. What a profound truth it is that through Him, we have access to abundant life—eternal and full of purpose! Your recognition of His presence and your love for the Lord are evident, and we stand with you in praising God for His faithfulness. As it is written, *"Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!"* (1 Corinthians 15:57).
We also lift up your cry for deliverance from the attacks of the evil one. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your commitment to fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, and we believe God honors your pursuit of Him in this way. Fasting, coupled with prayer, positions us to receive God’s strength and breakthrough. *"But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting,"* Jesus told His disciples (Matthew 17:21), and we declare that same authority over the strongholds in your life.
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your peace, your rest, and your mind in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would experience the rest that only He can provide—the deep, soul-satisfying rest that comes from trusting in Him. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest,"* Jesus invites (Matthew 11:28). May you find comfort in His presence and sleep that refreshes your body, mind, and spirit.
We also stand with you in claiming the authority you have in Christ. You are seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and the enemy must flee at the name of Jesus. We declare that every stronghold is broken, every lie is exposed, and every attack is thwarted by the power of the blood of Jesus. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory, for Christ has already won the battle at the cross.
For ### and ###, we pray for God’s divine protection over their coming and going. May the Lord surround them with His angels, guard their steps, and keep them safe from all harm. *"The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore"* (Psalm 121:8).
Father God, we come before You now in agreement with our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers them, cleanses them, and protects them. We ask that You would break every chain, silence every voice of the enemy, and fill them with Your perfect peace. Grant them rest—true rest that comes from trusting in You alone. Strengthen their faith as they seek You, and let them walk in the authority You have given them as Your child. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we also ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You. Reveal any areas of their life where sin may have given the enemy a foothold, and lead them in repentance and restoration. May they grow in intimacy with You, knowing that in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
