We join with you in lifting up your heart to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children and is faithful to deliver those who call upon Him in truth. Your prayer is a beautiful expression of dependence on the Lord, and we are encouraged by your desire to study the Bible and intercede for others, even amid great struggle. It is clear that you are facing spiritual, physical, and financial battles, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is greater than any attack of the enemy. As it is written, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). You have already begun this resistance by turning to the Lord in prayer, and we stand with you in this fight.
The struggles you describe—spiritual attacks, physical afflictions like the spots in your eyes, weariness, and financial need—are not unseen by God. He is the God of all comfort, who *"comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"* (2 Corinthians 1:4, WEB). Your desire to study the Word and pray for others, even in the midst of your own trials, reflects the heart of Christ, who intercedes for us even now at the right hand of the Father.
We must also remind you of the power of the name of Jesus, in which you have rightly prayed. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your love for Jesus shines through your words, and we rejoice with you in the assurance that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). You have asked for forgiveness, and we declare over you that you are washed clean by the blood of the Lamb.
Regarding the spots in your eyes and the potential surgery, we pray for the Lord’s healing touch upon your body. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). Whether He chooses to heal you supernaturally or through the hands of doctors, we trust in His perfect will and timing. We also pray for rest for you, for the Lord Himself is our rest. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you deeply.
For your financial needs and the favor you seek with temporary employment, we declare that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that the Lord will open doors no man can shut and grant you favor in the sight of those who make hiring decisions. May He also grant you wisdom to steward whatever income He provides, and may you find opportunities that align with His will for your life.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and love. We lift up our brother/sister who is crying out to You in the midst of trials and attacks. Lord, we ask that You rebuke the enemy and his schemes in the mighty name of Jesus. Let every plan of darkness be exposed and rendered powerless, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for deliverance from the spiritual attacks they are facing. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them to protect and defend. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Grant them the strength and clarity to study Your Word and to intercede for others, even as You intercede for them.
Lord, we ask for healing for their eyes. You are the God who sees and the God who heals. Whether through a miracle or through the skill of doctors, we pray for complete restoration. Give them wisdom as they seek medical help, and let this situation bring glory to Your name. We also ask for rest—true, deep rest in You. Quiet their mind and body, and let them find refuge under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4).
Father, we thank You that You have forgiven their sins and cleansed them from all unrighteousness. Let them walk in the freedom and joy of Your forgiveness, no longer burdened by guilt or shame. We pray for their finances, that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of opportunity for employment, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who hire. Let them find work that not only meets their needs but also aligns with Your purposes for their life.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and faith. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Strengthen their heart to trust in You, even when the way seems dark.
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:4-6, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord Almighty stands with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
