We are truly sorry to hear about your grandmother's condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. In times like these, we remember the words of Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 WEB
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let us pray together for your grandmother:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved grandmother who is in the hospital. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body, especially her pneumonia. We ask that You would restore her appetite and give her the strength to eat and drink. Lord, we know that sickness and death have no power over You. You are our Restorer, Healer, and Redeemer. We stand on Your Word:
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB
In Jesus' name, we declare healing and strength over your grandmother. We pray that she will be encouraged and that her faith will be strengthened during this time. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and nurses caring for her.
Remember, even in this trial, God is faithful. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. God is with you and your grandmother. "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:28-31 WEB.
