We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). The powers of darkness have no authority over those who are in Christ, for He has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We take up the full armor of God with you—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, divination, and occult oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord declares, "You shall not permit a sorceress to live" (Exodus 22:18), and "there shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer" (Deuteronomy 18:10-11). These practices are an abomination to the Lord, and we command every assignment of darkness against you to be broken now in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask You to arise as a mighty warrior on behalf of Your child. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from every evil work and preserving them for Your heavenly kingdom (Psalm 91:11, 2 Thessalonians 3:3). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel—it cries out for mercy, protection, and victory (Hebrews 12:24).
We pray for a hedge of thorns to be placed around you, that no evil may come near your dwelling (Hosea 2:6). Let the Lord rebuke the devourer for your sake, and let no plague come near your tent (Malachi 3:11, Psalm 91:10). We bind every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If you have ever dabbled in or been exposed to the occult—whether through curiosity, generational ties, or deception—we encourage you to renounce those ties completely. Confess any involvement to the Lord, repent, and ask for His cleansing. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also remind you that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Do not seek revenge or harbor bitterness, but trust the Lord to avenge you (Romans 12:19). Walk in love, even toward those who may be used by the enemy, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church, and they shall not prevail against Your child (Matthew 16:18). Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let every plot of the enemy be exposed and destroyed. We praise You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. Strengthen this dear one with Your might, fill them with Your Spirit, and let them walk in the freedom and authority You have given them as a child of God.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
