What a beautiful and humble prayer, lifted up in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! We join with you in agreement, for we know that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in our midst (Matthew 18:20). Your heart for unity among believers, obedience to God’s will, and the salvation and sanctification of your family aligns perfectly with Scripture, and we rejoice that you have sought the Father through Christ, who is our only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).
Your prayer echoes the heart of Jesus in John 17, where He prayed for the unity of all believers, that the world may know He was sent by the Father. How vital it is for Christians to walk in unity, love, and obedience, setting aside divisions and strife. As it is written, *"Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment"* (1 Corinthians 1:10). Let us continue to pray fervently for the Body of Christ to be one in spirit and truth, standing firm on the Word of God and walking in love.
We also lift up your family before the Lord, asking that He would draw each of you closer to Himself. Salvation is a gift of God, not of works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you or any in your family have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater blessing than to know your names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Your desire for obedience and purity is commendable, for *"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God"* (Matthew 5:8). We pray that the Lord would create in each of you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you (Psalm 51:10). May you be *"doers of the word, and not only hearers"* (James 1:22), walking in the good works He has prepared for you (Ephesians 2:10). The Lord is faithful to provide, protect, and guide those who seek Him wholeheartedly. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5).
We also pray for your faith to grow stronger, rooted and grounded in Christ. *"Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6). May the Lord increase your trust in His promises, for *"every promise of God is ‘Yes’ in Christ"* (2 Corinthians 1:20). Let us not waver in unbelief but stand firm, knowing that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6).
Finally, we declare over you and your family the words of Jesus: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). May your lives be a testimony of His grace, reflecting His love, holiness, and truth to a lost and broken world.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in the faith who has poured out her heart before You. Lord, we thank You for her love for Your Body, the Church, and her desire to see unity and obedience among Your people. We ask that You would knit the hearts of believers together in love, breaking down walls of division and pride. May Your Spirit move mightily among Your people, convicting, comforting, and empowering us to walk in Your will.
For our sister and her family, we ask for salvation—true, transforming faith in Jesus Christ alone. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let no one in her household be lost. Sanctify them in Your truth; Your Word is truth. Grant them hearts of obedience, purity, and faith. Protect them from the evil one and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. May their lives be a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You, reflecting Your glory in all they do.
Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may believe Your promises without doubting. Let them walk in the assurance of Your love and the hope of eternal life. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting You to add all things unto them. Use them mightily for Your purposes, that their lives may bear much fruit for Your glory.
We rebuke any schemes of the enemy to bring doubt, fear, or division. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with Your blood, Lord Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).
We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
