I 'answered back' to a woman who is my elder.She is a more experienced colleague. I deeply respect her and this is the first time that I have ever spoken to her like this. It was not what I said, but my tone was inappropriate. I pray to display more humility, self control, love and patience towards other people in Jesus' name. Amen

Just like David you are quick to repent and therefore know that the Lord is pleased with you!  If the Lord impresses you give this lady a smile and a kind word or maybe even an apology!  The Lord will quicken you to do what is right!  Because God's Spirit, The Holy Spirit dwells within you sin will continue to grieve your heart and you are one that repents quickly, this is good!  Amen!  

Because David did what was right in the sight of the LORD, and had not turned aside from anything that He commanded him all the days of his life, except in the case of Uriah the Hittite (1 Kings 15:5). David was called a "man After God's Own Heart!"
