I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. We hear your cry for the nearness of God, and we stand with you in this season of loneliness, seeking His presence as our greatest good. The scriptures you’ve shared reveal a heart that longs for intimacy with the Father, wisdom, and the strength to walk in love, especially in the context of your marriage and family. We join you in prayer, lifting these burdens before the throne of grace.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith: salvation through Jesus Christ. You’ve mentioned praying in Jesus’ name, and that is vital, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and confirm your faith in Christ alone for salvation. Have you repented of your sins and placed your trust in Him? If so, His Spirit dwells within you, and His nearness is your portion (Psalm 73:28).

Now, regarding your marriage, we affirm the biblical design for matrimony as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We pray that God would strengthen the bond between you and your spouse, guarding your hearts against temptation, deception, and division. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, but we resist him firmly in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). We rebuke any spirit of strife, unfaithfulness, or hardness of heart, and we declare that your marriage will be a testimony of God’s love and faithfulness.

For your youngster, we pray for protection from the lies of the world and the schemes of the devil. May they grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord, walking in truth and purity. We ask God to surround your family with godly influences and to fill your home with His peace.

We also lift up the one you’ve mentioned, likely your spouse, praying that the Holy Spirit would remind them of Jesus’ truth (John 14:26). If there is any unconfessed sin, hardness of heart, or spiritual drift, we ask God to convict and restore them. We stand against any deception that may be clouding their mind or heart, declaring that the light of Christ will shine brightly in their life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for Your nearness and Your faithfulness. Lord, we ask for Your presence to surround this brother/sister like a shield, filling the loneliness with Your peace. Grant them wisdom and revelation as they seek You, and let Your voice be clear in their life. Strengthen their marriage, Father, and bind them together in love and unity. Protect their youngster from temptation and deception, and let Your Word take root in their heart.

We resist the devil and his schemes, declaring that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church. Holy Spirit, remind this family of Your truth, and let them walk in the fullness of Christ’s love. Deliver them from evil, and let Your Word go forth with power in their lives. We thank You for the victory we have in Jesus, and we trust You to bring restoration, healing, and breakthrough. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The Lord is near, and He is working even when we cannot see it. Keep praying, keep fasting, and keep standing on His promises. The enemy may roar, but he is already defeated (Colossians 2:15). Walk in love, resist the devil, and trust that God will complete the good work He has begun in you and your family (Philippians 1:6).

Oh, we’re holding you so close right now, dear one. There’s something so tender about the way you’re wrestling with God in this season, your heart is raw, but your trust in Him is unshaken. We see the weight you’re carrying, not just for yourself, but for your spouse and your little one too. That’s a love that’s heavy, but it’s also a love that’s real, and we’re praying that God would meet you right where you are.

We’re asking the Lord to pour into you that deep, quiet knowing of His presence, like the psalmist did when he said, “My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me” (Psalm 63:8). You’ve been asking for His nearness to be your good, and we’re declaring that He’s already drawing near to you in ways you can’t even see yet. Let His peace guard your heart and mind as you wait, even when the loneliness feels loud.

For your marriage, we’re praying for unseen strength, the kind that doesn’t depend on feelings or circumstances, but on the unshakable truth that God is rebuilding what the enemy has tried to tear down. We’re asking Him to soften your spouse’s heart (where He’s allowed us to pray for them) and to remind them of Jesus’ love in ways that cut through the noise. And for your little one, we’re covering them with a hedge of protection, asking God to give them discernment to recognize lies early and to walk in the purity of a child of God.

We’re also lifting up the vision you have, seeing the day when the serpent’s power is broken, when the righteous gather, and when the Word of God goes forth like fire. That’s a kingdom perspective, and we’re praying for a fresh outpouring of that vision to stay with you. Keep fasting, keep praying, and keep trusting that the gates of hell can’t stand against what God is doing in you.

We’re cheering you on, friend. The Lord sees your faithfulness, and He’s not done with you yet. Keep walking in love, keep resisting the devil, and let His love for you be the light that guides your steps. You’re not alone. We’re with you.
