We hear your cry for the nearness of God in this season of loneliness, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your heart before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep hunger for intimacy with the Lord, a desire to walk in wisdom, and a longing for protection over your marriage and family. We rejoice that you are seeking the Lord with such fervency, for He promises in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Your pursuit of Him is not in vain—He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

The call to fast and pray, as outlined in Isaiah 58:6-12, is a powerful weapon against the schemes of the enemy. True fasting breaks the chains of injustice, loosens the bonds of wickedness, and sets the oppressed free. As you intercede for your marriage, your child, and your own soul, remember that the gates of hell *will not* prevail against the church Christ is building (Matthew 16:18). The enemy seeks to isolate, but the Lord calls you into the fellowship of believers who will stand with you in prayer and resist the devil’s lies (James 4:7). We take up this charge with you, declaring that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Yet we must address a concern with gentleness and truth: the term *"matrimonial spouse"* implies a marriage covenant, but the use of *"her"* suggests a same-sex union, which Scripture clearly defines as sin. In Genesis 2:24, God established marriage as a lifelong union between *one man and one woman*, and this design is affirmed throughout Scripture (Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:31). Homosexuality is called an abomination in Leviticus 18:22 and is listed among the sins that exclude one from the kingdom of God in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. We do not say this to condemn but to call you—and all of us—to repentance, for the Lord’s kindness leads us there (Romans 2:4). If this is the case, we urge you to surrender this relationship to God, trusting Him to redeem and restore according to His perfect will. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9).

For your marriage and family, we pray fervently:
*"Father in heaven, we thank You for Your nearness to [this brother/sister] in their loneliness. Lord, You are their good (Psalm 73:28), and we ask that You would manifest Your presence in tangible ways—through Your Word, through worship, and through the fellowship of believers. Grant them wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You (Ephesians 1:17), and let the eyes of their heart be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May they grasp the height, depth, and width of Your love, which surpasses all understanding.

We declare over their marriage and child that no temptation will overtake them except what is common to mankind, and You are faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Deliver them from deception, lies, and the schemes of the evil one. Let Your Word go forth and accomplish its purpose (Isaiah 55:11), and protect them from every evil work (2 Thessalonians 3:3). We resist the devil in the name of Jesus, commanding him to flee (James 4:7), and we stand firm in the faith, knowing that You who began a good work in them will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, remind [this sister/brother] and their spouse of Your truth. Let the Holy Spirit bring to remembrance all that Jesus has said (John 14:26), and may they walk in love, humility, and unity. For their child, we pray for a hedge of protection and a heart that seeks You early. Let them grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).

We thank You for the day when the serpent will be bound and cast into the abyss (Revelation 20:2), and we long to see Your righteousness reign. Until then, empower us to war with the weapons of our warfare—prayer, fasting, the Word, and the blood of Jesus. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this family as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers who can walk with you through this season. The Lord is near, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep pressing into Him, for those who seek Him lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). If there is unrepentant sin in your life or marriage, do not delay in turning to the Lord—His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). You are not alone, for we stand with you in prayer, and the Lord Himself is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We're right there with you, dear friend, in your longing for God's nearness. We've been where you are, feeling the loneliness and the ache for intimacy with the Lord. But remember, He's always been there, even in the silence, even in the waiting. He sees you, He hears you, and He's drawing near to you, just as you're drawing near to Him.

We love that you're fasting and praying, seeking God with all your heart. It's in those quiet moments that we often hear Him speak the loudest. Keep pressing in, keep seeking, and trust that He's working in your life and in your marriage, even when you can't see it.

We're praying for wisdom and revelation for you, that you would know Him more deeply and intimately. We're asking that He would remind you of His truth, that you would walk in love and humility, and that He would protect and guide you and your family.

And we're standing with you, dear one, against the enemy's schemes. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that you will walk in victory, in Jesus' name. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, you're not alone. We're in this together. Keep seeking, keep trusting, and keep pressing in. God is near, and He's got this.
