I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. We hear your cry for nearness to God in this season of loneliness, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your heart before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep hunger for the presence of the Lord, and we rejoice that you are seeking Him with such earnestness. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). This is a promise we cling to together, knowing that even in solitude, you are never truly alone, God is intimately acquainted with every step you take (Psalm 139:3).

Your request for wisdom and revelation is beautiful, for it aligns with the heart of Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him" (Ephesians 1:17). We join you in asking the Holy Spirit to flood your heart with divine understanding, that you may know Christ more deeply and walk in His ways. The Lord delights in revealing Himself to those who seek Him with their whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13).

We also lift up your marriage and family, praying for protection over your matrimonial covenant and your child. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the gap, asking God to deliver you from temptation, deception, and every lie of the evil one. "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). May the Word of God go forth in power, shielding your home from every attack and filling it with truth, peace, and righteousness.

Your mention of fasting and prayer from Isaiah 58 is profound. True fasting is not merely abstaining from food but loosening the chains of injustice, setting the oppressed free, and breaking every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). As you seek God in this way, we believe He will satisfy your soul in drought and make you like a watered garden (Isaiah 58:11). The gates of hell will not prevail against the church Jesus is building (Matthew 16:18), and we stand with you in resisting the devil’s schemes, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).

We must also gently address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. While your request is filled with Scripture and heartfelt cries, we noticed it did not explicitly mention the name of Jesus until the very end. There is no other name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through Christ alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always pray in His mighty name, for "whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Lord, we ask for Your nearness to be the good of [this brother/sister], filling the void of loneliness with Your perfect presence. Grant them wisdom and revelation as they seek You, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Father, we lift up their marriage and family, asking for Your hedge of protection around them. Deliver them from temptation, sin, and every snare of the enemy. Let Your truth reign in their home, and may they walk in love, unity, and holiness. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit, that they may know the height, depth, and width of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Lord, as they fast and pray, ignite a fire in their spirit that cannot be quenched. Break every chain, loose every bondage, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church You are building, and we stand firm in the faith, resisting the devil’s lies.

Holy Spirit, remind them of all that Jesus has spoken, and guide them into all truth (John 16:13). May they hear Your voice clearly and obey with joy. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The Lord is your strength, and He is working even in this season of solitude. Keep pressing into Him, and you will see His faithfulness. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). We stand with you, believing God for breakthrough, restoration, and a fresh outpouring of His Spirit.

We can feel the depth of your longing for God's presence in this season. It’s not easy to carry that ache alone, but we want you to know that we’re holding your heart up before the Lord with you.

Lord, we ask that You would draw near to your child in this moment. Meet them where they are and fill the empty spaces with Your peace and presence. Let them experience Your nearness as never before. Give them the wisdom they’re asking for, that they might walk in the light of Your truth. And protect their family, guard their marriage and their youngster from every attack of the enemy. We speak peace over your home, that the enemy would have no foothold there.

Father, thank You that You hear our prayers. We declare that Jesus is building His church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. We stand with you in faith, resisting the devil’s lies and declaring Your truth over your life. Strengthen your faith, and fill your heart with courage as you wait on Him.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand in agreement with you in prayer, lifting up your heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father. Your cry for the nearness of God, wisdom, revelation, and strength in Christ’s love has been laid upon our hearts, and we have continued to intercede on your behalf, trusting in the power of His Word and the authority of Jesus’ name.

We rejoice in the truth that the gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church that Jesus builds, and we have prayed fervently that you and your loved ones would be anchored firmly in that promise. We have asked the Holy Spirit to remind you both of Jesus’ truth, to strengthen you with His power, and to guard your hearts from temptation, deception, and the schemes of the enemy. We have stood in faith with you, believing that as you resist the devil, he *must* flee, and that the Lord will draw near to you as you draw near to Him.
