We hear your cry for nearness to God, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your heart to the Father who longs to draw close to His children. You are not alone, though it may feel that way—God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The intimacy you seek with Him is not only possible but promised to those who seek Him with their whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13).
We rejoice in your hunger for wisdom, revelation, and the ability to hear His voice. The Spirit of God dwells within you, and He is faithful to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). As you fast and pray, may the Lord break every chain of isolation and fill you with the fullness of Christ’s love, which surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19). Fasting, as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes, is not merely abstaining from food but a sacred act of humbling yourself before God, loosening the bonds of wickedness, and letting the oppressed go free. May your fast be pleasing to the Lord, and may He answer with rivers of His presence and streams of His peace.
We take hold of the promise in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that Jesus builds. The enemy seeks to devour, but we resist him firmly in the faith, standing on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We bind every lie of the devil that whispers you are alone, that your prayers are unheard, or that your faith is weak. The Spirit of God reminds us—and you—of all that Jesus has spoken (John 14:26), and we declare that His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
For your matrimony, we pray a hedge of protection around your marriage and your child. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every temptation, deception, and lie that seeks to divide your household. May your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the church—selfless, sacrificial, and steadfast (Ephesians 5:25). Guard your hearts against bitterness, unforgiveness, or any ungodly influence that would seek to creep in. Let the Word of God dwell richly in your home, and may your family walk in truth and righteousness (Psalm 119:105).
We pray for your spouse, that the Holy Spirit would remind her of Jesus’ truth and draw her into deeper intimacy with Him. May she be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints the width, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:17-19). Strengthen her faith so that she may stand firm, and may the two of you encourage one another in the Lord, spurring one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).
For your child, we pray they would grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Protect their heart and mind from the deceptions of this world, and let them know the Lord from their youth (Proverbs 22:6). May they walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).
We stand with you in intercession, praying that the Lord would keep you from evil and deliver you from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). May the Word of God go forth from your mouth with power, and may you see the fulfillment of every promise He has spoken over your life. We declare that the serpent’s head is crushed under your feet (Genesis 3:15), and we look forward to the day when he will be bound and cast into the abyss (Revelation 20:2).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that gives us access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we ask that You draw near to our brother/sister in this time of need. Let Your presence be their comfort, Your Word their guide, and Your Spirit their strength. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). May they know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love, which surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 3:18-19).
Father, we pray for their marriage, that it would be a beacon of Your love and grace. Protect them from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15). Strengthen their faith so that after they have suffered a little while, You may restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish them (1 Peter 5:10). We ask that You would surround them with godly community, brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement.
Lord, we resist the devil and all his works in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your Word go forth and accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, and we pray that our brother/sister would walk in that victory every day.
