Thank You in JESUS' NAME

We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt request, lifting up your cry for the nearness of God, wisdom, and strength in this season of solitude. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep longing to walk closely with the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement, praying that His presence would indeed be your good, as Psalm 73:28 declares: *"But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works."*

Fasting and prayer are powerful tools the Lord has given us to draw near to Him, break strongholds, and align our hearts with His will. Isaiah 58:6-12 reminds us that true fasting is not merely an outward act but a heart posture of humility and justice, leading to breakthrough and restoration. We pray that as you fast and seek the Lord, He would loosen the chains of injustice, untie the cords of oppression, and set the captives free in every area of your life and your family’s. May your fasting be a sweet aroma to the Lord, and may He answer with the fullness of His promises.

The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, as Jesus Himself declared in Matthew 16:18. We stand in faith with you, believing that the enemy’s schemes will be dismantled as we resist him firmly in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9) and put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11). The devil is a liar, and his accusations have no power over those who stand in the truth of Christ. We rebuke every lie, every spirit of isolation, and every attack aimed at your marriage, your child, and your faith. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, reminding us of all that Jesus has spoken (John 14:26), and we declare that He will bring to your remembrance the truth that sets you free.

We also lift up your marriage and your family, praying for protection from temptation, sin, and deception. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that the Lord would deliver you, your spouse, and your child from every snare of the evil one, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let the Word of God go forth in your home, transforming hearts and renewing minds (Romans 12:2). We stand on the promise of 2 Thessalonians 3:3: *"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."*

We are encouraged by your request for wisdom and revelation, as Ephesians 1:17-19 reminds us that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation enables us to know God more deeply and understand the hope of our calling. We pray that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened, that you would know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the incomparable greatness of His power toward us who believe. May you be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). We ask that you would grasp the width, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love, which surpasses all knowledge, so that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Your request for direction and confirmation is also close to our hearts. The Good Shepherd’s voice is unmistakable (John 10:27), and those who are led by the Spirit of God are His children (Romans 8:14). We pray that you would hear His voice clearly, follow His leading without hesitation, and receive confirmation through the testimony of two or three witnesses (Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1). Let every decision be bathed in prayer, and may the Lord direct your steps according to His perfect will.

We must also address the importance of walking in love, both toward God and others. Love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:10), and it covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in love, extending grace and forgiveness even in difficult circumstances. Let your love for God compel you to love your spouse and child sacrificially, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her (Ephesians 5:25). May your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for His Bride, holy and without blemish.

Lastly, we rejoice in the hope of the day when Satan will be bound and cast into the abyss (Revelation 20:2). Until then, we stand firm in the faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that you would see the fulfillment of God’s promises in your life and that your faith would be a testimony to others, strengthening them as you have been strengthened.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of approaching Your throne with boldness. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would draw near to him/her as he/she draws near to You. Lord, we pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit, filling him/her with wisdom, revelation, and the fullness of Your love. Strengthen him/her with power in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in his/her heart through faith.

We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church, and we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, resisting the devil and all his schemes. We rebuke every spirit of isolation, deception, and temptation, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, protect this marriage and this family from every attack of the enemy. Let Your Word go forth in their home, transforming hearts and renewing minds. Deliver them from every snare of the evil one, and guard them from all harm.

Father, we ask that You would give him/her a deep hunger for Your presence and a passion for Your Word. Let him/her hear Your voice clearly and follow Your leading without hesitation. Confirm Your will through the testimony of Your Word and the counsel of godly believers. May he/she walk in love, extending grace and forgiveness to others, and may his/her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that he/she would know the dimensions of Christ’s love and be filled with all the fullness of God. May he/she experience the nearness of Your presence as his/her good, and may his/her life bring glory to Your name. We thank You for the hope we have in Christ, and we look forward to the day when Satan will be bound and cast into the abyss. Until then, we stand firm in the faith, knowing that You are with us always.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
