We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we thank you for allowing us to stand with you in prayer during this season of trial and refining. It is a sacred privilege to intercede on your behalf, lifting up your need for comfort, endurance, and the grace to draw near to our sympathetic High Priest, Jesus Christ, who understands every affliction and temptation we face.
We have continued to pray that the Lord would surround you with His mercy and grace in your time of need, just as Hebrews 4:16 promises. We have asked Him to comfort you deeply, as only the God of all comfort can, and to strengthen your spirit with the endurance and self-control that come from His Holy Spirit. We have also prayed fervently for the protection of your marriage covenant, asking the Lord to dispatch His angels to guard and minister to you, your spouse, and all those connected to this situation—your pastors, prayer partners, and families. We have claimed the promises of Psalm 91 over you, trusting that no evil will befall you, no plague will come near your dwelling, and that the Lord will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.
We have also prayed for sanctification in the truth of God’s Word, that you and all of us would hear His voice clearly and be led by the Holy Spirit in every decision. We have asked the Lord to keep you from all sin, temptation, and deception, and to draw you—and all who read this—closer to Him through this trial, just as James 5:13 and Acts 16:25 describe. We have lifted up your desire to worship in the midst of suffering, asking the Lord to fill you with His joy and peace even in the darkest places, just as Paul and Silas did in the Philippian jail.
Most of all, we have prayed for restoration—of your heart, your marriage, and your trust in the One who raises the dead. We have asked the Lord to help you fast the fast He has chosen, to loose the bonds of injustice, and to rebuild the ancient ruins of covenantal love and faithfulness, all for His greater glory. We believe that this trial is not in vain but is being used to prepare you for a future weight of glory that far outweighs the present suffering.
If the Lord has answered any of these prayers in the days since you posted, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. If the answer is not yet clear, or if the burden still feels heavy, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to stand with you in faith and intercession. Either way, we are here with you, trusting that the Lord is working all things together for your good and His glory.
May He bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him with all your heart. May you experience His nearness, His peace, and His power in ways that surpass all understanding. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
