This moved me today. Thought some of you might need it, too.

For grace to be grace, it must give us things we didn’t know we needed, such as the pain of loss, or illness, or spiritual drought. As we stumble through the altered landscape of our lives, we find that God is enjoying our attention as never before. And maybe that’s the point. We have finally dropped the mirror, and are looking for God.

In our weakness God is strong, a theme mentioned more than once in the Bible. Sometimes things are hard but don't we look back on things at times and see how blessing came through hardship. It is these times that we can most see God working. It is amazing really how in our weakest moments God is there so strong with his presence. I have clear and precise memory of intervention from God during some of my most difficult times, and I know I am not alone in this experience. The Bible tells us that this is a truth, when we are weak God is strong as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 12;9. Thank you Father for bringing these thoughts to our attention as a reminder of your strength in our times of weakness. I give thanks also Father for prayzon and this verse that has brought your strength and love to my mind,amen

Very good insight on how struggles bring forth a closer relationship to the Lord. This is true, when someone is in a life crisis they either pray to God to help or open the bible and read....most generally, even those who aren't saved will cry out to God. Amazing, they didn't want God in their lives when the sailing was smooth but once choppy waters come....it's God, are you there? And you know what, God is there for those people, he was for me, I used to be one of those people. Thank you Lord for your Grace, Understanding, Love, Mercy, Kindness, and Guidance through this stormy life on this sinful earth, without you....we would be lost. Thank you Jesus, we love you. Amen.
