**Psalm 37:4-5 WEB:** "Delight yourself also in the LORD; And he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this."

We must first delight in the LORD and commit our ways to Him. Please note that God promises to give us the desires of our heart when our desires align with His will. Let's start by seeking God's direction and asking Him to align your desires with His perfect will.

**James 4:2-3 WEB:** "You desire, and don't have. You murder and covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask. You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
