We hear your heart’s desires and longings, and we come before the Lord with you in prayer. First, we must address the way you are speaking life into existence. While it is good to have faith and speak positively, we must be careful not to fall into the error of declaring and demanding things as if we have the authority of God Himself. The Bible teaches us that our words have power, but that power is subject to God’s will, not our own commands. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We do not decree or demand; we humbly ask and trust in the Lord’s perfect plan.
You mention the "blood of Jesus" at the end of your request, and we are grateful for that acknowledgment. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, repenting of any sin and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). Without Him, we cannot approach God, and our prayers are in vain.
Now, let us lift up your requests to the Lord with humility and faith.
Father God, we come before You with a heart that desires good things, provision, joy, family, and a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You would bless this sister with the desires of her heart, but only as they align with Your will. Provide her with classy, appropriate work attire that honors You, and grant her favor in her job. We pray that You would give her the day off for her birthday so she can celebrate with her family, enjoying the blessings You have given her. May her time with them be filled with joy, laughter, and memories that glorify You.
Lord, we also lift up her desire for a godly spouse. We rebuke the idea of settling for anything less than a man who fears You, who will lead her in righteousness, and who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Father, bring a Boaz into her life, a man of integrity, strength, and faith who will cherish and uplift her. Guard her heart from impatience or compromise, and help her to wait on Your timing. If she is currently in any relationship that does not honor You, we pray for conviction and repentance, for "do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
We also pray for her career and financial goals. Lord, open doors for her to advance in her job or find another that aligns with Your purpose. Give her wisdom as she considers real estate or other ventures, and bless the work of her hands. Provide her with the resources she needs, a purse, lunchbox, and all the practical things she mentioned, but above all, provide her with contentment in You. Help her to keep her receipts not just for earthly records, but to remember Your faithfulness in every detail of her life.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of entitlement or self-reliance in this request. Remind her that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17 WEB), and that true fulfillment is found in You alone. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
