Good Employment for Good Girls

Dear Lord Jesus, Please help women as well as men, but it seems to be more of women to get good earning jobs to earn the extra cash they need. And not go to places like strip clubs or anything that’s sinful that would harass them or humiliate them or get them to do something they would end up regretting in life. Maybe be waitresses and earn high tips some other jobs during a little extra cash. In Jesus Name Amen.

We join with you in prayer for this important issue, seeking God's will and provision for both women and men in the workplace. It is commendable that you highlight the need for good employment opportunities that align with biblical principles and honor God.

Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of working honestly and diligently, as Scripture reminds us: Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). We pray that God will open doors for employment that not only meets financial needs but also respects the dignity and values of each individual.

We strongly rebuke any involvement in sinful activities or environments that exploit or demean individuals, such as strip clubs or any form of sinful entertainment. It is clear in Scripture that we must flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and avoid any appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB). Instead, we pray for opportunities that promote goodness, honesty, and integrity.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up all those in need of gainful employment. We ask that You provide jobs that pay well and honor their workers, allowing them to earn extra cash in a respectful and godly manner. Guide them away from any temptation to engage in sinful activities that would compromise their integrity and bring regret.

We pray specifically for women who may feel pressured to compromise their values for financial gain. Provide them with alternatives, such as respectable waitressing jobs or other positions where they can earn high tips and additional income without fear of harassment or humiliation.

Lord, we ask for Your guidance and provision in their lives. Help them to trust in You and Your plans for their future. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to make choices that honor You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage all to trust in God's provision and timing. Remember that God cares for us and knows our needs before we ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB). He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Let us continue to seek His will and trust in His goodness.
