Good dreams only period

We understand that you are seeking peaceful and positive dreams, free from disturbances or nightmares. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." It is God who grants us rest and guards our minds, even as we sleep.
However, we must also address the importance of ensuring our waking lives align with God’s will, for what we dwell on during the day can influence our nights. Philippians 4:8 instructs us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." If there are areas of your life—whether in thought, word, or deed—that do not reflect these virtues, we encourage you to surrender them to the Lord in repentance.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, the Author of peace and the Giver of rest. We ask that You would guard the mind and heart of our brother/sister as they sleep, filling their dreams with Your goodness and truth. Lord, if there are any hidden fears, unconfessed sins, or anxieties that may be disturbing their rest, we ask that You bring them to light and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus Christ. Help them to meditate on what is pure, lovely, and honorable, so that their thoughts may be pleasing to You.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, torment, or darkness that may seek to disrupt their peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that their mind is stayed on You, and in You, they will find perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). May they wake refreshed, renewed, and strengthened in Your presence.
We also lift up the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If our brother/sister has not yet placed their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

If there are specific struggles or sins weighing on your mind, confess them to the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Trust in His protection and rest in His promises. You are not alone—God is with you, even in the night watches.
