We hear your heartfelt prayer for your child’s day at school, and we join you in lifting this request before the Lord. It is beautiful to see a parent’s love and desire for their child to walk in kindness, attentiveness, and joy. We pray that the Lord would indeed grant your child a day filled with His peace, wisdom, and favor.
However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. You refer to "Lord" and "He" but do not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture makes it clear that there is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). The apostle Peter declared, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone.
Now, let us pray together in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious child to You, asking that You would go before them today. Lord, grant them the wisdom to listen well, the kindness to reflect Your love to others, and the joy that comes from knowing You. May their smile be a testimony of Your goodness, and may their day be filled with Your peace and favor. Guard their heart and mind, and let them be a light to those around them. We ask that this day be a blessing not only to them but to all who interact with them. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage you to continue praying for your child’s spiritual growth. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* May the Lord strengthen you as you raise your child to know and love Him. If there are any other specific concerns or needs, we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
