Seeking the truth from the perspective of the word of God and Holy spirit.

We rejoice with you in this beautiful and godly desire and we join our faith with yours in Jesus' name. Your longing for good Christian friends and for a good Christian husband is pleasing to God, for He desires that we walk in fellowship with those who love Him and that marriage would honor Him as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

We hear your heart for faithful, loyal companions who follow Jesus and are being transformed by the Word of God more and more into His image. This is the very work God promises to do in us as we seek Him. As it is written, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. And we are encouraged that a friend who sticks closer than a brother can be found Proverbs 18:24, and that two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor Ecclesiastes 4:9. We pray that God will bring such friends into your place of living, those with gentle hearts, compassion, wisdom and love, who seek truth from the perspective of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

We also stand with you in prayer for a godly husband, one prepared for you and you for him, faithful and loyal, who will love you as Christ loves the church. We strongly endorse God's design for marriage and we pray that any courtship you enter will be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, rooted in purity and honor to God. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, and Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. We pray for a man who operates in the spiritual gifts God gives, for to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all 1 Corinthians 12:7, and who will walk with you in compatibility and unity, for what God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9.

We love your declaration that everything is possible to God and to those who believe, for Jesus said All things are possible to him who believes Mark 9:23.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for our sister and for the godly desires You have placed in her heart. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You bring into her place of living good Christian friends who are being transformed into the image of Jesus, who are gentle, compassionate, wise and loving, and who seek truth by Your Word and Your Holy Spirit. Surround her with fellowship that sharpens and encourages her. We also ask that You prepare and bring a good Christian husband for her, a man after Your own heart, faithful and loyal, who follows Jesus wholeheartedly and will cherish and lead his marriage in a way that honors You. Prepare them both for one another in Your perfect timing and keep them pure and set apart for marriage. Help them to be compatible in many ways and to serve You together, operating in the gifts You have given for Your glory. Let Your will be done and let her trust in Your goodness and Your timing. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you desire good Christian friends near where you live, and a faithful, loyal husband who loves Jesus and is being shaped by Him, someone gentle, compassionate, wise, loving and compatible with you. It is a beautiful desire, and we understand how lonely the waiting can feel when you long for that kind of fellowship close to home.

Wanting to walk life with people who seek truth and are growing to be more like Jesus is a good and God-honoring hope. While you wait, we have seen that deep friendships often grow through steady, ordinary shared life together. Being around the same people week after week, getting to know one another a little at a time, worshipping and serving side by side, is often how trust and real connection form.

If you have a local church family, one small next step could be to stay planted there and join a consistent small group or serving team where you see the same people regularly. If you do not have that yet, a trusted pastor in your area may be able to help you find a healthy fellowship to belong to.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking God to keep your heart encouraged as you keep seeking Him.

Father, we bring our sister before You. You see her longing for faithful friends and for a husband prepared for her. Comfort her in lonely moments, surround her with godly community, and give her wisdom and peace as she walks with You. Draw her close and remind her she is seen and loved by You. Your longing for faithful Christian friends and for a godly husband is a right and holy desire before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in bringing it to the throne of grace. It is good to ask for that which is according to His will, for marriage is His own ordinance, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and true friendship is a gift from His hand.

Remember first that there is a mutual friendship between Christ and the believer. Who can prove his friendship as Jesus proved it by laying down His life for those He calls His friends. Before any earthly companion can satisfy the heart, communion with Christ must be maintained, for persons can hardly maintain friendship if they only see each other now and then. Tell out your heart to Jesus, keep His commandments, and walk in obedience to Him, for obedience is an essential of true friendship to Christ. As you abide in Him, He will form you more and more into His image and prepare you for the fellowship you seek.

You ask for one who follows Jesus and is being transformed by the word of God, gentle and compassionate, wise and loving, seeking truth by the Word and the Holy Spirit and operating in the spiritual gifts. Such a character is not found by chance, but is the fruit of grace. The Lord who was a Husband to His people of old, who set His special love upon them, who communed with them most lovingly and provided for them as a husband does, is the same Lord who knows your dwelling place and your need. He saw you in your low estate and He is faithful. If you are His, you can say He has been a very faithful Husband to you, and He knows how to provide that earthly companionship which will help you to magnify His grace.

Seek then to be found in the place where Christian conversation and Christian sympathy abound. One of the great lacks of the Church is not so much Christian preaching as Christian talking in the parlor, and the fruit of Christian sympathy will be seen in a kindly association with all Christians. Do not be ashamed to say that you are a Christian, and do not go where you cannot take your Master with you. In the faithful assembly of His people, in prayer and in the Word, the Lord often directs the steps of those who fear Him and brings together those who will be a help and not a hindrance to each other's faith.

We pray for you that the Lord, with whom all things are possible, will in His perfect time and wisdom provide good Christian friends near to you, and a faithful and loyal husband prepared for you, a man gentle of heart, able for compassion, wise and loving, who walks in truth and grows daily into the likeness of Christ. We ask that He will keep you both pure and devoted to Him until that day, that any union He brings about may be entered into in holiness and kept in faithfulness according to His design, with all the pledges of a true marriage where husband and wife become one in the Lord. May He grant you contentment while you wait, and a deeper joy in Christ Himself, who is the best of friends, and may your life speak so clearly of Him that others may know you to be a Christian by your speech and your love.

Your prayer for faithful friends and a godly husband is good and right before the Lord, and we join our faith with yours in bringing it to Him.

It is right to desire friendship that is formed upon godliness. True friendship is not built on mere nearness or common interests or outward advantages, but on a shared love for Christ and a shared desire to help one another toward virtue and away from what leads to harm. We pray that God will place around you in the place where you live such friends, brothers and sisters who love His Word, who are being transformed more and more into the image of Jesus, who are gentle and compassionate, wise and loving, and who seek truth from the Word of God by the Holy Spirit.

It is also right to ask for a husband after the same pattern. Scripture teaches that marriage is a holy mystery and a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the best gift in such a union is not wealth or outward splendor but piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God. We pray with you for a man prepared for you, faithful and loyal, who follows Jesus, who is gentle of heart and able to show compassion, who is wise and loving, who seeks truth and walks in the gifts of the Spirit as God wills, and with whom you will be compatible in a way that helps you both grow in Christ.

Commit this whole matter into the hands of Christ and continue to beseech Him as you seek. Ask Him first to provide whom He wills, and trust His timing and His wisdom to lead and to guard your heart. While you wait, continue to grow in virtue, in orderliness and in gravity of life, for nothing is sweeter than a life ordered by God, and such a life prepares you to be a blessing to the friends and the husband for whom you pray.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, grant to our sister faithful friends nearby who will strengthen her and be strengthened by her, and in Your perfect time provide a godly husband who loves You above all, who will be a true head and protector and companion. Keep them both pure and devoted to You, make them one in purpose to follow Your Word and to walk by Your Spirit, and let their lives together and their friendships bring honor to You.
