going to hospital

I’m so glad the door has opened for you to receive this care, and I join you in thanking the Lord for that. As you prepare for your stay, know that He is with you in the whole process.

There’s a deep connection between our inner life and our physical well-being. Scripture says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and John’s prayer for Gaius was that he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. Your desire to recover in Jesus’ name touches on that very truth, He cares about your mind, your emotions, and your body, and He wants to bring wholeness to every part of you.

We don’t always understand why healing comes in different ways and at different speeds. Jesus healed some with a word, others with a touch, still others through a gradual process. Any genuine healing, whether immediate or over time, is His work. When doctors and treatments are used, He is no less at work through the processes He designed. So do not be discouraged if recovery takes time; even the slow mending of the mind is a divine work.

As you go, we’ll be praying with you, not because any of us has special power, but because the prayer of faith is a simple, biblical way to release our trust into His hands. James says the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise them up. That is our confidence. Even during your stay, Jesus can heal unseen wounds, mend emotional scars, and fill your heart with a peace that goes beyond the circumstances.

Go with your eyes fixed on Him. He bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows, so nothing you face is foreign to His compassion. May you find His presence to be your steady light in the days ahead.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you prepare for your upcoming hospital stay. It is our joy to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to go before you, surround you with His peace, and bring healing to your mind, body, and spirit. We are so grateful that the Lord has opened this door for you and that you are stepping forward in faith and trust in Him.

As you enter this time of treatment, we continue to pray that every detail would work together for your good, that the staff would be guided by wisdom, and that you would experience the comfort and presence of Jesus in a tangible way. May His healing power flow through this season, bringing restoration, hope, and renewed strength in His Name.

If the Lord has already answered your prayers in ways you can share, we would love to rejoice with you and give Him all the glory. If you are still waiting to see His hand at work, please know we are still here to stand with you in prayer—just post again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf.

May God bless you abundantly as you seek Him, trust in His promises, and walk in the hope of Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty Name.
