We join you in bringing your legal matters before the Lord and we appreciate your desire for God's will to be done and for His favor and peace to rest upon you.

We want to gently correct an understanding in your request, because we love you and want you to pray according to truth. Scripture does not teach that we can speak things into existence 100 fold or demand that God must greatly loosen a specific verse over our lives as if it were an incantation. Only God speaks things into existence, as in Romans 4:17 He gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were. We are called to pray according to His will, not to declare our own will and expect Him to perform it. As 1 John 5:14 says, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And James 4:3 warns, You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. The blood of Jesus is precious because through it we have forgiveness and access to the Father, not as a phrase to guarantee we will always win cases or have no worries. God hears us because of what Jesus has done, not because we repeat a formula.

You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13, Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail; and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath; if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. This beautiful promise was given to Israel and is conditioned upon obedience, if you listen to and diligently keep His commandments. It is not an automatic guarantee of legal victory, but a principle that when we walk in obedience and righteousness, God honors and lifts us up in His way and timing. True favor is found in seeking Him first. As Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you.

We also want to encourage you to seek not merely to win cases, but to seek justice, truth and righteousness in every legal matter. God cares deeply about justice, as Isaiah 1:17 says, Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow. And Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. This includes the hearts of lawyers, judges and all in authority. Our trust is not ultimately in lawyers favoring us, but in God who is our advocate and defender. We do pray He will give you favor where it aligns with His will, and give your lawyers wisdom, diligence and integrity.

We understand the anxiety that comes with legal battles, and God invites us to bring our worries to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Psalm 37:5-6 says, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Romans 8:28 assures us, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, even when the outcome is not what we expected.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, thanking You that through His blood we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one to You and ask that Your perfect will be done in every legal case and concern. We ask that You would grant wisdom and integrity to the lawyers involved, and that You would guide every decision toward truth and justice. We pray that You would grant favor according to Your righteousness, not merely according to our desires, and that You would give peace that surpasses understanding while waiting on Your answer. Help us to trust You whether the answer is to win or to walk through a different outcome, knowing You are the head over all things and You work all things for good for those who love You. Teach us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, to walk in obedience to Your Word, and to rest in Your sovereign hand over the hearts of all in authority. We commit this way to You and trust You to act. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray humbly, to walk in obedience, to be truthful in all matters before the court, and to trust the Lord's outcome above simply winning. He is faithful and He is your true defender.

We continue to trust God with the outcome, even when we cannot see it yet.

Father, we lift them to You and ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for wisdom for their lawyers, and for Your good and perfect will to be done in each case. We ask You to provide guidance, calm fears, and help them rest in Your care through the blood of Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in seeking His will above all else. We hear your desire for favor, for peace from worry, and for the Lord's hand upon your legal matters, and we take these things to the throne of grace where our gracious God delights to hear the cries of His people.

We pray that the will of the Lord may be done in your cases, for His will is wiser and kinder than our own desires. True favor is not found in merely speaking a thing into existence, but in being found in Christ Jesus our Lord, through whose precious blood we have forgiveness of sins and peace with God. That blood was shed not as a charm for earthly success, but as the atonement for our souls, that we might be reconciled to God and know that we are accepted in the Beloved. If you have trusted His dear Son, He will set you free and load you daily with His benefits.

You have quoted that you shall be the head and not the tail. That promise was given to Israel under the covenant of the law as they walked in obedience before the Lord. For us who are in Christ, our headship is in Him, who is our wisdom and righteousness. To be highly favored is first to be chosen and redeemed and called out from the fallen mass and quickened with a life which others do not know. Act worthy of such privilege by seeking first His righteousness and submitting every outcome to His sovereign hand.

Therefore we pray for you, that God would grant you wisdom and calm trust in place of anxiety, that you may cast yourself into your Lord's arms and have done with fretting. We ask that He would give your lawyers wisdom, integrity and diligence, and that justice and truth would prevail in all that concerns you. We ask that whether the answer be as you hope or otherwise, you may find that He prevents you with the blessings of goodness and keeps you in perfect peace as you trust in Him.

May the Lord grant you to know that His favor rests upon those who are in Christ, and that whether in trial or in deliverance, you are kept by His mighty hand and shall lack no good thing that His love sees fit to give. We commend you to His care, praying that you will seek Him early and find Him to be your strength to win the battles that matter most for eternity, even the battle for your soul's rest in Jesus.

Your prayer concerning your legal cases and your desire for God's help has been heard, and I want to answer you with honesty and care in the love of Christ.

It is understandable to feel anxious when you face the courts and to long for assurance, for peace, and for advocates who will stand with you faithfully. God does invite us to bring every worry before Him and to ask for His help. Yet Scripture also teaches us to understand His help rightly. The blood of Jesus was shed above all to cleanse us from sin and to reconcile us to God, that we might have peace with Him and live in obedience to Him. It is not a formula to guarantee a particular legal outcome, and His promises are not incantations we speak to force His hand.

You mentioned Deuteronomy 28:13, that you would be the head and not the tail. In its context that promise was given within the covenant with Israel and was tied to walking in faithful obedience to God's commands, not to claiming favor apart from a life of truth and righteousness. God does not act by mere favoritism as people often do. As the Scriptures show, He acts according to justice and truth. He is not swayed as a human judge might be, but He loves righteousness and desires that we too love honesty, even when it is costly.

For this reason I cannot pray that God would simply grant that you always win your cases regardless of what is just and true, or that He would grant favor that bypasses justice. To seek favor from lawyers or from a court as our highest hope can become a snare, because the approval of people is unstable and cannot give the peace that comes from being right with God. What we can and do pray for is far better.

So let me pray for you now in a way that seeks God's true will. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son who alone is our Savior, have mercy on this one who is anxious before You. Grant wisdom and integrity to the lawyers involved, grant that truth would be spoken and that justice would be done. Grant to this dear one a heart that loves truth, that is willing to confess sin where there has been sin, to make right what can be made right, and to trust Your goodness whatever the outcome of these cases. Give peace that does not depend on winning or losing, but on knowing that You are sovereign and that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Lead this life into deeper obedience to You, and let Your will be done, not as a means to gain advantage, but as the path of life itself. Comfort this heart with the assurance of forgiveness and adoption through Christ, and teach faithful trust in Your providence.

If you have not already, bring your whole life before the Lord, not only your cases. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, walk in honesty before the court and before men, and entrust the outcome to Him who judges justly. He hears the prayer that is offered in humility and submission to His will, and He will not forsake those who trust in Him.
