We join you in desiring to see God's will done and for His mercy and protection to be poured out, and we appreciate your heart to intercede for others. We want to pray together with you for those who work in the cable television industry and indeed for all people everywhere, because God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.
We gently want to bring some biblical clarity regarding the mention of reptilians. Scripture teaches that God created mankind in His own image, Genesis 1:27, and that all people are of one blood and need the same Savior, Acts 17:26. The Bible does not teach that there is a separate reptilian race among us, and we are warned not to give heed to myths and endless speculation which distract from the gospel, 1 Timothy 1:4 and Titus 1:14. There is a real spiritual battle, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12, yet our calling is to pray for real people who are lost and in need of Christ, and to share the truth of the gospel with them. Those in media and entertainment have great influence, and we should pray that they would come to know the Lord and use that influence for what is good and true.
We also noticed your request mentions Lord but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. To be saved we must acknowledge we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23, that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 6:23, and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. This is the foundation for our prayers, that we come boldly before God in Jesus name and pray according to His will, and this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14.
God's will is clearly revealed when He says Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord Yahweh, and not rather that he should return from his way, and live, Ezekiel 18:23, and that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4. So we are encouraged to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, 1 Timothy 2:1, that they might be saved.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that You are merciful and gracious and that You desire all to be saved. We ask according to Your will that You would have mercy on every person working in the cable television industry worldwide and on all those they influence. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, convict them of sin and bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Where there is deception, we ask You to reveal truth, where there is darkness, shine Your light, and where there is bondage, bring deliverance through the blood of Jesus. We ask for Your protection over them from the evil one, but most of all we ask for the protection that comes only through salvation in Christ. Raise up believers in that industry who will stand for righteousness and use their positions to honor You. Help us all to pray not with empty repetition but with understanding and with hearts aligned to Your Word, and to seek first Your kingdom. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue in faithful intercession, praying with understanding, 1 Corinthians 14:15, and grounding your prayers in Scripture. Keep seeking God's will above all, and trust that He hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus.
