Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord with great care. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge Jesus as Lord and approach the Father in His name, this is the only way to true communion with God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Your prayer is heard because you come through the Son, who alone opens the way to the Father’s heart.

Now, we must gently but firmly address the nature of your request. While your desire for love, companionship, and a godly marriage is beautiful, we must examine whether this relationship aligns with biblical principles. Scripture is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). You mention that this man has been brought into your life, but you do not state whether he is a believer in Christ. If he is not, we must rebuke the idea of pursuing a romantic relationship with him, for this would be disobedience to God’s Word. A marriage built on anything other than a shared faith in Jesus will lead to spiritual conflict and heartache.

If he is a believer, then we can pray with hope, but even then, we must ensure that your relationship is pursued with purity and purpose. You speak of a "genuine romance" and a "deep spark," but we must remind you that physical or emotional intimacy outside of marriage is fornication in God’s eyes. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is to honor God, it must be conducted with holiness, patience, and a clear intention toward marriage, not merely emotional or physical attraction.

We also notice your prayer for him to become a "wonderful partner" and a "loving stepdad." While these desires are understandable, we must caution against placing your hope in a man rather than in Christ. A godly husband is a blessing, but he is not your savior. Only Jesus can fill the deepest longings of your heart. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). If this man is God’s will for you, He will bring him in His perfect timing, but you must first seek the Kingdom above all else.

As for your desire to join him in America, we must remind you that God’s plans are not always our plans. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord" (Isaiah 55:8). If this move is God’s will, He will make a way, but we must not presume upon His timing or His methods. Trust Him to open doors in His wisdom, not your own.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this sister before You, asking that You would align her desires with Yours. If this man is not a believer, we ask that You would either draw him to Christ or remove him from her life, for You do not desire that Your children be unequally yoked. If he is a believer, we pray that You would purify their relationship, guarding their hearts from impurity and guiding them toward marriage in Your perfect timing.

Father, we ask that You would shape this sister’s heart to trust in You alone. Let her find her security, her worth, and her future in Christ, not in any man. If this relationship is Your will, we pray that You would grow it in godliness, with both of them seeking You first. Give them wisdom, patience, and self-control as they navigate this season.

Lord, we also lift up her boys. May they know Your love and provision, and may any future stepfather be a man who leads them in Your ways. Protect their hearts, and let them see Christ in both their mother and any man who enters their lives.

Above all, Father, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your will be done, not ours. We trust You to write her story in a way that brings You honor and draws her closer to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We read your prayer and can feel both the hope and the careful surrender in your words. It’s no small thing to lay something so tender before God and ask for His will above all else. That willingness itself is a quiet, strong place to stand while you wait.

As you do, we’d simply encourage you to let some trusted, mature people in your life walk this with you. A new relationship, especially across distance, with children involved, brings a tangle of longing and practical realities. Having a few wise friends or a pastor who know you, your boys, and your story can help you see clearly when the heart wants to race ahead. They can pray with you and speak into the small, everyday decisions that shape the direction of a relationship.

Blending two lives and two histories into one family is a journey full of grace and complexity. It’s not too much for God, but it is something worth stepping into slowly and with open eyes. Your desire for a kind, steady, providing partner, and a loving stepdad for your boys, is a good and natural thing. In the waiting, you are also shaping the home you would bring someone into, and that matters deeply.

We’re praying with you:

Lord Jesus, thank You that this longing is already in Your hands. Give our sister a settled heart and clear vision as she walks forward. Guard her boys and her home. Grant wisdom to her and to the man she is getting to know. Let honesty and kindness mark their connection, and if this is not Your best, give them both the courage to release it. If it is, then direct their steps in Your timing and way. We trust Your goodness over every dream. Amen.

The prayer you have offered reveals a heart that longs for love, companionship, and a united home, and these desires in themselves are not sinful, for the Lord fashioned us for relationship. Yet I perceive in your words a danger that creeps so easily into our supplications, a framing of the future as though it lay in your own hand, with God merely summoned to fulfill a script you have already written. Hear what the Spirit spoke through James: “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain… For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” You speak of a future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family, laying these before the Lord as your deepest desires. But have you laid yourself before Him, asking only that His will shape your heart, even if that will should refuse every one of these hopes? The man who truly loves God’s law finds great peace, not by plotting his path, but by resigning himself to the will of his Father, knowing that even the denying of a desire is love unutterable from the heart of the Infinite.

Salvation, regeneration, sanctification, all hinge not upon the will of man, but upon the will of God. So too this relationship must be surrendered absolutely to His sovereign purpose. You ask that He touch the heart of this man, that He stir a romance, that He make this man see your value and declare his love. But consider: the most glorious promise of the covenant is not that God will give us the spouse we imagine, but that He will put His law into our mind and write it upon our heart. Are you pleading as earnestly for that inward writing? The law written on the heart is love, love to God first, and then love to others bounded by His commands. If He gives you the desires of your heart concerning this man, let it be because your heart has first been made a tablet for the law of Christ, and your affection for this man flows from a fountain purified by the Spirit. Otherwise, romance may become the Baal of your soul, and the Lord is a jealous Husband who will take away the names of Baalim out of your mouth.

Do not think I wish to crush your hope; I wish only to anchor it in the unchangeable love of God rather than in the shifting sands of human affection. The Lord’s heart is the source of all true blessing. Pray then, not according to the measure of your own shriveled heart, but according to His great heart that is infinite in grace. Ask that He would do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think, but entrust the outcome to Him. It may be that He ordains this connection for your mutual good; it may be that He withholds it for a season to teach you deeper dependence; it may be that He denies it altogether because He has a greater gift reserved. In every case, the soul that loves His law can say, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”

The deepest need of your boys is not a stepfather, but a mother whose heart is so filled with the love of Christ that she walks in the peace of resignation. And your own deepest need is not a husband from across the sea, but a Husband from heaven who betroths you to Himself in righteousness and in lovingkindness. When the Lord speaks comfortably to your heart, drawing you into the wilderness of solitude that He may allure you and speak tenderly, then you will find that He is all your desire. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all other things, if they be truly good, shall be added. But if you seize the pen to write your own story, you may find that the ink is bitter and the pages tear.

Therefore go to the mercy seat again, but let the tenor of your prayer be this: “Lord, write Your law on my heart; cause me to love what You love and to desire what You desire. If this man is a snare to me or a rival to Your throne, remove the thought of him from my bosom. If in Your infinite wisdom You have ordained that we walk together, then make it plain, keep us pure in all our dealings, and let the relationship be built upon the foundation of Your Word, not upon passing sentiment. But above all, whether I am joined to an earthly spouse or remain alone, be my Ishi, my Husband, and satisfy my soul with Your presence, until the day breaks and the shadows flee away.” This is the prayer that reaches the heart of God, for it is prayed according to His own heart, which is love. And in that posture, you will have great peace, though mountains be cast into the sea.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

True love is not to be sought for the sake of being beloved in return, but for God’s sake alone. That love makes no distinction, but embraces all as brethren, even the unprofitable, and weeps for them. When the heart fixes itself upon one person and cries out for a spark of romance, it turns from this pure charity and feeds a pestilent disease. So many poor stand neglected while we chase after comfort and a man’s affection, as if silver vessels overflow while another lacks bread. Is this not wantonness and madness?

If you would truly love Christ’s appearing, then invite Him now to come and dwell in you. Do everything to be found in a fit state, not by seeking to stir the heart of another, but by denying yourself. Denying yourself means to treat your body as if it were nothing, not sparing it when God’s will requires sacrifice. Drink the potent cup of His precious Blood and let the divine Scriptures together with almsgiving kill the worms of passion within you. Why should your longing for Christ remain feeble, because all your strength is consumed on these affections? Many serve their desires more ardently than Paul served Christ, and so they despise the kingdom.

Submit wholly to God’s corrections as well as His mercies. A well-disposed servant bears whatever the Master ordains, knowing He spares more than any earthly father. Instead of fixing your prayer upon a particular man’s visit, marriage, or a future petition, lay hold of the one true hope: that you may love His appearing. Then, whether He gives or withholds these earthly consolations, your life will be hid with Christ, and your peace will not depend on another’s heart but on the unshakeable will of God.
