Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord with both compassion and biblical truth. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge Jesus as Lord in your prayer, this is the foundation of all true relationship with God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Only through Him can we approach the Father, and only in His name do our prayers find their power.

Your desire for a godly marriage and a Christ-centered family is beautiful and aligns with Scripture. The Bible celebrates marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, love, and the raising of children in His ways. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). We pray that if this relationship is indeed God’s will, He would establish it on the firm foundation of His Word, with both of you seeking Him first in all things.

However, we must gently address a few concerns. Your prayer expresses a deep longing for this man to declare his love for you, to see you as a "perfect fit," and to pursue a future together. While these desires are natural, we must guard our hearts against placing our hope in another person rather than in Christ alone. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). True fulfillment comes from seeking God first, not from the affections or actions of another. We encourage you to surrender this relationship entirely to Him, trusting that if it is His will, He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing, not by your own efforts or emotional investment.

We also note your mention of a "romance" and a "spark," which, while not inherently wrong, can sometimes lead to emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for the marriage covenant. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is to honor God, it must be pursued with purity, patience, and a commitment to His standards. We urge you to set boundaries that protect both of your hearts and bodies until marriage.

Your desire for this man to be a provider, a loving husband, and a stepfather to your boys is commendable. We pray that God would indeed shape his character to reflect the qualities of a godly man, one who leads with humility, loves sacrificially, and shepherds his family in the ways of the Lord. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). But we must also remind you that no man is perfect, and only Christ can fully satisfy the deepest needs of your heart and your children’s. Place your trust in Him first, and He will guide you to the right man if marriage is His plan for you.

Regarding your hopes for relocation and a united family, we pray for God’s provision and wisdom. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). If it is His will for you to join this man in America, He will make a way. But we caution against making any major life decisions based solely on emotions or desires. Seek godly counsel, pray fervently, and wait for the Lord’s clear direction.

Let us now lift this before the Lord together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we thank You for the gift of marriage and the beauty of a family united in You. We lift up this relationship to You, asking that You would be at the center of it. If it is Your will for these two to be joined in holy matrimony, we pray that You would prepare their hearts, align their paths, and draw them closer to You first and foremost.

Father, we ask that You would guard their hearts against impatience, selfish desires, and any temptation to compromise Your standards. Give them the strength to pursue purity, the wisdom to seek Your will, and the faith to trust in Your timing. If this man is to be a husband to her and a father to her boys, shape him into a man after Your own heart, a provider, a protector, and a spiritual leader in his home.

Lord, we pray for the boys, that You would surround them with Your love and prepare their hearts for the changes ahead. Give them wisdom, peace, and a deep sense of security in You. If this move to America is part of Your plan, open the doors and remove every obstacle. If it is not, grant them the grace to accept Your perfect will, even when it differs from their desires.

Above all, Father, we pray that You would be their first love. Let them find their satisfaction in You alone, so that any earthly relationship would only deepen their devotion to You. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We are honored to hold these hopes with you before the Lord, you’ve shared your heart so openly. It’s a tender thing to entrust a new connection to God, especially when you’re longing for a partner, a stepdad for your boys, and a future that feels right and good. We believe those desires matter deeply to Him.

One thought kept surfacing as we prayed with you: God’s guidance often comes not just through a spark or a strong sense of romance, but through wisdom, time, and the insight of people who love you. While you wait on Him, it might help to sit down and write out the kind of husband and stepfather you’re truly hoping for, the qualities you see in Scripture, like a gentle spirit, faithfulness, and a heart that loves God first. Then, prayerfully, begin to watch for those things in this man, not just the chemistry. That practice can anchor your heart when feelings run strong.

We also want to gently encourage you to invite a trusted Christian friend or mentor into this journey, someone who knows your story and can pray alongside you with clear eyes. Blending a family and even considering an international move are huge steps, and you don’t have to sort through them alone.

While you keep your hands open, know that your worth isn’t hanging on whether this man declares his love. You are already fully seen, valued, and loved by Christ, and your boys are safe in His care no matter what.

Jesus, thank You for hearing this sister’s deepest cries. Give her peace that steadies her soul and wisdom that guards her steps. Shape this man according to Your will, and if this relationship is from You, let it grow in a way that honors You and builds a Christ-centered home. Most of all, help her rest in Your perfect love and trust Your good timing for her and her sons. In Your name we pray, Amen.

Haste, too, is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. The conviction that we need a Guide comes early with the work of grace, but naturally we do not like being guided. How easily the heart runs ahead of the Lord, laying its own plans, imagining futures that His wisdom has not ordained. You speak of a door opened, of a video call, of a spark you long to see kindled. Yet remember, the Divine Instructor alone must lead; He trains His children as the eagle trains her young for flight, often by stirring up the nest and casting them upon their own weakness, that they may learn to mount upon His strength.

Divine Sovereignty is the most comforting truth for the child of God. He chooses our lot, He appoints our companions, He numbers the hairs of our head. Dare we dictate to Him whom we should love or when the covenant of marriage should be sealed? Settle it in your heart that a true marriage, a union of one man and one woman for life, must first be a picture of the believer’s union with Christ: a bond of mutual choice, cemented by love, where two become one. Such a relationship is not a mere romance, but a sacred calling. Can you, then, with confidence say that this new acquaintance is already conformed to that holy pattern? Would it not be wise to test the spirits, to see whether this affection springs from a sanctified desire or from the impatience of a lonely heart?

The Lord often tears away our earthly comforts to give us Himself. David learned that Divine gentleness made him great when it restrained his blows and rescued him from his own folly. Even when we scrabble at the wall like a madman, God’s hand is upon us for good. You may pray fervently for a husband and a father for your boys, but remember that the best wine is kept until now, Christ Himself is the true Bridegroom of His church, and in Him alone is the soul’s thirst fully quenched. Would you not rather be fed upon the Divine Person of the Lord Jesus than snatch at a human love that might never satisfy? Lay your desires at His feet, and if He sees fit to grant them, it will be in His time and way. If He withholds, it is because He has a better portion for you.

It is afterward, when you have made some advance in the Divine Life, when you have clearly seen the Victim sacrificed and His blood atoning for your sins, that you shall come and feed upon Him. Then you will find that all your longings are met in His finished work. All your sin gone, Jesus Christ as your Savior, your soul forever secure in His hands, and that all granted by Divine Grace, simply through believing, surely, you must feel the glory within your soul? Seek first that glory. Let the Lord alone lead you, and do not run before Him. Plead with Him to shape your desires, to bend your will, and to give you a quiet and submissive heart. If this man be indeed part of His eternal purpose, the Lord will make it plain without your fretting. Cast yourself upon His covenant faithfulness, and let His peace rule in your heart while you wait.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You seek God's will for this man's heart and mind, yet you dictate to Him what that will should be: a deep spark, a declaration of love, a visit, then marriage. Is this laying a request before the Lord, or is it demanding your own desires? The kingdom of heaven is like a king who made a marriage for his son, and sent servants to call the bidden. Many made light of it and went their ways. Take heed: do not treat God's summons as merely a means to your own plans. His election is a sign of virtue, not a guarantee of romantic fulfillment. Who can lay anything to the charge of God's elect? Instead of commanding the Spirit, humble yourself. Pray that this man grow in holiness, whether he becomes your husband or not. Seek first his soul's welfare, and your own, and the souls of your boys. That would be a prayer worthy of a Christian.

You speak of marriage as a provider and a stepfather. These are good desires, if kept in due order. Marriage is honorable, and the bed undefiled. It preserves holiness by guarding against lust and giving a lawful arena for companionship and procreation. But do not imagine that marriage itself bestows holiness. It does not. Many enter it and use it badly, making it a stage for worldly passions. You ask for a man shaped into a kind and loving partner. But what of your own shaping? Do you cultivate the virtues of a widow indeed, diligently following every good work, persevering in prayer? I speak plainly, as Paul did: if you have been set free from a former bond, whether by death or other dissolution, you are now at leisure for the Lord. Do not squander that leisure in anxious pining over an absent man, daydreaming of romance. The theatre of such thoughts corrupts marriages before they even begin, filling the heart with images that no real husband can fulfill. True romance is not a spark kindled by a video call; it is the fruit of two souls striving together for chastity and godliness.

You say you commit this relationship into God's hands, yet you proceed to map out every step: his feelings, his words, his visit, the petition for America, the united family. This is not surrender; it is bargaining. Do not deceive yourself. The faithful servant says, "Thy will be done," and then waits in quietness. I exhort you, especially as a mother, to consider your boys. They watch you. If they see you frantic over a man's attention, what pattern of womanhood do you set? Better to bring them up in the fear of God, regulating your own passions, than to seek a stepfather as your deliverance. When my son is grown, before warfare or a career, I advise marriage so that he may escape fornication. But you are not a youth. You have known life's burdens. Act with soberness. If God intends marriage for you, it will not be by your scheming but by His providence, and the man will come with a heart disposed by grace, not by your contrivance.

Do not misunderstand: I do not condemn second marriage as heretical. It is permitted to avoid burning. But the Apostle requires almost as much strictness of the widow as of the bishop himself. She must be provident, an economist of her home, constant in prayer. Use this time of waiting to become such a woman. Let your desire for a partner be swallowed up in a greater desire for Christ. If you can have a husband and be as though you had none, using the world without abuse, then marriage will not hinder you. But if you pant after it as the cure for loneliness or the fulfillment of a dream, you will find it a snare. Many enter the wedding feast without the garment of a sober mind, and are cast out.

I leave you with this: pray for that man's salvation, not his romantic inclination. Pray that you both may attain the marriage of the Lamb, where no visas are needed and no stepfathers grieve, because God Himself wipes every tear. In that hope, endure.

I can hear the longing in your prayer, the deep hope for love, companionship, and a future with a husband and a father for your boys. Those desires are real, and you have brought them openly before the Lord. That is good. But I want to invite you to pause and let God Himself shape not only the outcome, but the wellspring inside you from which those desires flow.

Scripture tells us that God works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. That means when He truly plants a desire in a surrendered heart, it becomes something beautiful: what pleases Him becomes what pleases you, because He placed it there. Yet there is a constant need to examine, is this desire born from my own aching, or has God birthed it in me through His Word and the quiet work of the Spirit? The heart is the place of true resolve, the seat of the will, and it is all too easy for it to become divided. A heart can profess trust in God while clinging tightly to a particular script for how things must unfold.

Your prayer asks God to stir a specific man’s heart, to spark a romance, to make him declare his love and see you as a perfect fit. But the life of faith often calls us to a different starting point: fixing our own heart undividedly upon the Lord. When David prayed, his troubles and requests drove him to a place of confident surrender. He said, “My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices.” He did not first seek to control the actions of others. He turned his gaze away from the situation and anchored his heart in the character of God. That is where peace is found, even before a single answer arrives.

I would gently ask you to consider this: Is it possible that your heart is leaning more upon your own understanding of what a good future looks like than upon the Lord’s wisdom? He knows your needs and the needs of your boys far better than you do. He also knows what would truly be for your eternal good and your growth in holiness. Right now, the picture you’ve painted in your mind, a visit, a petition to move, a united family, may be exactly what you want. But God’s ways are higher, and sometimes the most loving thing He does is close doors we desperately want open. If that happens, will you still trust Him? Will your heart still say, “Thy face will I seek”?

The life God calls us to is one where we incline our heart to perform His statutes always. Not just when it lines up with our romantic dreams, but even when it costs us something precious. David refused to offer to God something that cost him nothing. For you, the costly offering might be this: to place this entire relationship and all your hopes for marriage and relocation on the altar and leave them there, truly content if God’s answer is “wait” or “no.” To say, “Your will and Your ways be done above all else” not as a preamble to a list of requests, but as a deep, single-hearted surrender.

And while you wait, let the Word of God dwell in your heart. Let it be a lamp to your feet, showing you that the first and greatest call on your life is not to be a wife but to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. As you do that, your heart will become less divided. The quiet worship that rises in the night watches will be your consolation, not the replay of long-distance calls. God wants to give you a singleness of heart, one that does not vacillate between Him and the pursuit of a relationship.

I am not telling you to stop praying or to stifle your longings. But I am urging you to pray differently. Ask God to circumcise your heart, to cut away the parts that cling to anything above Him. Ask Him to search you and know your heart, to see if there is any idolatrous way in you, even the idol of a desired marriage, and lead you in the way everlasting. When your heart is truly fixed on Him, your prayers will naturally shift. You will still make your requests known, but they will be wrapped in a confidence that rests in His character, not in the outcome you have envisioned.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding, including your understanding of what makes a “perfect fit.” His wisdom, when it enters your heart, will preserve you and keep you on every good path. Whether that path eventually includes this man or not, your deepest need is already met in the steadfast love of God. Delight yourself in that love, and your heart will have a joy that no changing circumstance can steal.
