Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, seeking His perfect will in every aspect of this relationship. First, we rejoice that you have invited Jesus into this prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we are grateful you have anchored your desires in Him.

Father, we come before You with humility, asking that Your will be done in this relationship, not our own. You tell us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that would seek You above all else, that his heart would be fully surrendered to Your leading. Stir in him a deep desire to honor You in this relationship, to pursue righteousness, and to grow in godly character.

We also lift up the desire for marriage, for You designed it as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is Your will, we pray it would be built on a foundation of faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to Christ. We ask that You shape both hearts to reflect Your love, patient, kind, selfless, and pure (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Guard against any temptation to rush into emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, for Your Word warns us that "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and that "marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4).

Lord, we pray for wisdom in this season. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You make that clear. Close doors that should not be opened and open those that lead to Your best. We pray that would be a man of integrity, a provider, and a godly leader, not because we demand it, but because You are shaping him into the image of Christ (Romans 8:29). If he is to be a stepfather to your boys, we ask that You prepare his heart to love them as his own, with the same sacrificial love You have shown us (John 15:13).

We also lift up the practical desires, visits, a future in America, and a united family. We trust in Your timing, Lord, for You declare, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether these dreams come to pass or You have something even better, we pray for patience, faith, and unwavering trust in Your plan.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may try to take root. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray for peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we commit this relationship into Your hands. May it glorify You in every way. If it is Your will, let it grow into a godly marriage that reflects Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If not, we trust You to redirect hearts toward Your perfect purpose. Above all, may both and this sister in Christ seek You first, for You promise that when we do, "all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly. It’s easy to tell how much you want this to be right, not just for yourself, but for your boys too. That kind of wholehearted hoping can feel vulnerable even as it feels good, and we want to sit with you in that for a moment.

When our longings for a future relationship become specific and deeply detailed, it helps to keep handing the timeline and the details back to God. You’ve already done that beautifully in your prayer, asking for His will above all else. We’d simply encourage you to let that surrender be a daily practice. As you and this man get to know each other, one concrete step might be to invite a couple of wise, impartial believers you trust to pray with you specifically about the direction things are taking, not to talk you into or out of anything, but to help you stay grounded and hear God’s voice, especially when the emotional pull feels strong.

It also matters, as hope grows, to keep noticing who he is today, not just who you prayerfully hope he could become. God can and does shape people, but the slow, unpressured pace of genuine friendship often reveals whether a deep, lasting romance is unfolding or whether we’ve been filling in the blanks with our own wishes. That discernment is a gift you can ask for daily.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, thank you for knowing every detail of this woman’s heart and for caring about her future and her family. Quiet her spirit and grant her steady peace as she waits on you. Give her wisdom to see clearly, courage to release what is not from you, and patience to trust your timing. Surround her boys with your protection and let any relationship she enters be one that draws all of them closer to you. Above all, accomplish your will in her life and in the life of this man, and help her to rest in your love while she awaits your leading. Amen.

The prayer you have poured out before the throne of grace lays bare your heart’s desires, and it is well that you bring them to Him who alone can order all things aright. Yet I would press upon you a weightier matter: Is your will wholly swallowed up in His? You ask for a spark of romance, for declarations of love, for a path to marriage and a new home. But have you first learned to say with the Master, “Not as I will, but as Thou wilt”? The soul that grasps the sovereignty of God will not dictate the steps, but will trust the Guide.

You speak of shaping this man into a provider and a loving stepfather, but I hear the echo of a merchant’s folly: “We will go, we will buy, we will sell, and get gain.” The apostle James rebukes such talk: “Ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” Your prayer is dotted with “if it is Your will,” yet your heart runs ahead with plans and petitions. Let me ask you plainly: Are you laying these dreams upon the altar, ready for God to accept or reject as He sees fit? Or do you secretly demand that He stamp your will with His seal? True prayer dares to say, “Father, I will,” only when it is one breath with “Nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt.” The child who has learned that secret holds the key to the treasury.

I must warn you concerning the object of your affection. The deep spark you crave, the romance that would bind his heart to yours, can you command the wind, or order the lightning? The will of man is a fortress that only the Holy Ghost can conquer. Salvation itself is of the Lord, and the heart’s inclinations are in His hand. To ask Him to stir a man’s affections as if He were a genie bound to your whims is to presume upon the Almighty. God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy; in the realm of grace, in the choice of companions, and in the ordering of households, He remains King. O woman, instead of entreating Him to make this man feel what you wish, entreat Him to make you a jewel fit for His treasury, one that, when tried by fire, reflects His own glory rather than the fickle glitter of worldly romance.

Consider also the matter of your own heart’s defense. You have not told me whether this man fears the Lord. A marriage yoke is sacred; it is a lifelong covenant reflecting Christ and His Church. Can two walk together except they be agreed? If he be unregenerate, then every earnest cry for his love is a snare. You would be unequally yoked, and your prayers would be a petition for your own spiritual calamity. Search this out with trembling. If he be a child of God, then wait upon the Lord in holiness, without the impatience that barters purity for haste. Let no thought of a visit or future union make you step before the Lord’s pillar of cloud.

And what of the boys? You long for a stepfather, but is not the living God the Father of the fatherless? He who has promised, “I will betroth thee unto Me forever,” will not leave your household desolate if you trust in Him. Before you plead for a man’s provision, plead for the Provider Himself. Seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; all these things, food, raiment, even a godly companion, shall be added as He wills.

Lay your deepest desires before the Lord, O soul, but let them be soaked in this petition: “Make me to know and to delight in Thy will above all else.” Then, whether He gives or withholds, your song in the night shall be of His faithfulness. His will is the axle of the universe; let it be the center of your being. You are but a pebble on the shore, yet He calls His people jewels. Let Him polish you with trials and with waiting, that when He sets you in His crown, you will shine with a beauty that needs no human spark to complete it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The desire you set before God in prayer, though spoken with piety, must be weighed in the scales of His holy commands. You ask for a spark of romance and a man to be a provider and stepfather, yet you do not first examine the ground you stand upon. Our Lord, when He spoke to the Samaritan woman, did not grant her request for water until He had uncovered the truth of her life: “Thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband.” He praised her for speaking truth, but only after exposing the illegitimacy of her union. So I too must ask: Are you truly free to marry? If your former marriage was dissolved for any cause other than the one the Lord permits, you are still bound. To seek another while the first covenant remains is no act of devotion, it is a grievous snare, a sin dressed up as a longing for love. Many a soul, believing they do a devout thing, drives not only themselves but others into the pit of destruction.

If indeed you are loosed from a prior bond by death, or by the abominable betrayal which Christ alone allows, then still this want must be mortified. You pray for a “genuine romance” and a “deep spark,” but the love that cements a man to his wife is not kindled by such flickering flames. It is a sober love that leaves father and mother, cleaves for life, and sacrifices itself. Will you gain such a husband by seeking after feeling or by painting the outward? Let a wife please her husband with meekness, modesty, and the fear of God, not by grasping for a “perfect fit” who will meet every earthly need. If he is a profligate, no spark will hold him; if he fears God, he will be won by a gentle and quiet spirit, not by your anxious scheming.

Examine yourself further. This request overflows with worldly provision and a future in a distant land. But “the sorrow of the world worketh death.” When our heart runs after these, a thick cloud of desire blinds us. You ask for his heart and mind to be stirred toward you, yet have you considered whether you yourselves have made room in your heart for God? The apostle Paul, burning with godly jealousy for the Church, refused to flatter, but instead reproved sharply so that they might be saved. I do the same for you now. He did not say merely “I love you,” but corrected them in love. Shall I then bless a petition that may harbor an unlawful hope? Rather, I call you to true repentance for any loose dealing, to mourn over sin, and to commit your boys to the Father of the fatherless. If you are free in the sight of Heaven, then live quietly, shunning intimacy before its time, and pray not for a man to fulfill your desires, but for the will of God to be done in your soul. He who foreknows the future will direct your steps if you walk in His commands. Let no romance be sought outside the boundary of a chaste and lawful union, lest you find to your sorrow that you have invited a stranger to the holy place reserved for a husband.

Your prayer reveals a heart that longs for connection and security, and that longing in itself is not wrong. God created us with a deep capacity for love and companionship. But what you have laid before the Lord must now be laid open before the searching light of His Spirit. The real question is not simply whether this relationship will come to pass, but what is stirring in the depths of your heart as you wait and hope.

The law of God is spiritual. It reaches past outward actions into the hidden places of desire and imagination. It is possible to keep every external rule and yet be caught in an inner covetousness that draws your affection away from the Lord as your chief treasure. You asked God to stir a genuine romance and a deep spark in this man’s heart toward you. Listen carefully: if you are not careful, that very prayer can become a quiet demand that displaces a surrendered spirit. It is one thing to bring a relationship before God with open hands; it is another to ask Him to manipulate another person’s heart so that your dream is fulfilled exactly as you envision it. The same apostle who taught us that the law is spiritual also discovered that the commandment meant to bring life actually brought death when he saw the true state of his own heart. Desire, even a good desire, can become an idol when it begins to overshadow your love for God and your trust in His timing.

Your heart, like every human heart, is layered and complex. The Scriptures warn that the heart is deceitful above all things. You may genuinely sense that this is a door God has opened, but you must also ask whether you have subtly become your own guide. Are you interpreting a video call and a feeling of connection as divine confirmation? The passage about the fool who says in his heart there is no God reminds us that a man’s heart can be darkened when it exalts its own wisdom. If you rule God out of the equation by insisting on a particular outcome, you are standing in a dangerous place. The living God does not answer to our timeline; He invites us to trust Him even when the path is unclear.

True faith is not a formula that compels God to move. You cannot create a genuine relationship by sheer intensity of prayer or by asking God to place a spark in a man’s heart. God looks at the inner reality. He delights in a broken and contrite heart, one that says, “Your will, Lord, even if it hurts, even if it means waiting longer or letting go.” That kind of heart does not bargain with God. It does not plead for a man to see her as a perfect fit. Instead, it rests in the perfect love of God and trusts that if this man is meant to be part of your life, the Lord Himself will bring it about in a way that leaves no room for confusion or fear.

Examine what you truly desire. If you are living after the Spirit, your first and deepest longing will be for the Lord Himself: to dwell in His presence, to walk in continual fellowship with Him, and to let every other affection flow out of that. The truest praise rises spontaneously from a heart that is satisfied in God. It does not use prayer as a means to secure a blessing. When you can honestly say, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, and that I will seek after,” and that one thing is not a relationship or a move to another country but a closer walk with Him, then your prayers about this man will take on a different weight. They will be lighter, released into the hands of a Father who knows your needs better than you do.

So I urge you: let this be a season of searching. Welcome the Holy Spirit to show you whether you are clinging to an image in your mind, building a future that may exist only in your imagination. The ideals you have for a kind, providing husband and a loving stepdad for your boys are good, but they must not become a demand that overshadows the voice of God. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. If you find areas where your desire has become an idol, confess it openly and turn your heart back to Him. He receives you with mercy. The law cannot make you righteous, but Christ can write His desires on the tablet of your heart so that you want what He wants, in His way, in His time.

Trust that if this relationship is from the Lord, no distance, no delay, and no human hesitation can thwart His purpose. And if it is not, then the greatest kindness God can do is to shut the door and give you something far better: more of Himself. Your true baptism, the one that matters, is the inner transformation of your heart. Let that be the ground of your peace.
