Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Make me his PRIORITY. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing. Your prayer reflects a deep desire for a godly marriage and a family united under Christ, and we stand with you in seeking His guidance. However, we must gently address a few areas where your request could be refined to align more fully with Scripture.

First, while it is natural to desire affection and commitment from another, we must remember that our ultimate priority is Christ. Philippians 3:8 reminds us, "Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ." Our worth is found in Him alone, not in another’s declaration of love or priority. We pray that you would find your identity and fulfillment in Christ first, trusting that He will provide what is best for you in His time.

Second, while it is good to pray for a spouse who is kind, loving, and a provider, we must be cautious not to place our desires above God’s will. James 4:13-15 warns, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let’s go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit,' whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"

We also want to gently address the nature of your current relationship. Scripture is clear that intimacy and deep emotional attachment should be reserved for marriage. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 states, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." If this relationship is leading you into emotional or physical intimacy outside of marriage, we strongly encourage you to set boundaries that honor God. Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, and any steps toward deepening the relationship should be taken with wisdom, prayer, and accountability.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You would fill her with Your peace and assurance. Help her to find her worth and identity in You alone, knowing that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her ultimate Satisfaction. Father, we ask that You would guide her steps and the steps of this man she has connected with. If it is Your will for them to be united in marriage, we pray that You would prepare both of their hearts, molding them into individuals who reflect Your love, kindness, and holiness.

Lord, we ask that You would guard their hearts from any temptation that does not align with Your Word. Help them to walk in purity, both emotionally and physically, honoring You in every aspect of their relationship. If this man is not the one You have for her, we pray that You would make that clear and give her the strength to trust in Your timing and Your plan. Father, we also lift up her boys to You. May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior, and may they grow in wisdom and stature, finding their security in You.

We pray for this sister’s desire to join her potential spouse in America. Lord, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Provide clarity, wisdom, and favor in every step of the process. Above all, may Your will be done in their lives, and may they seek You first in all things.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your Holy Spirit lead, guide, and comfort them both as they seek to honor You in this season of their lives. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with godly counsel. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Trust in the Lord’s timing, and remember that His plans for you are good, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace as you wait upon Him.

We sense how much your heart is already invested in this connection, and we’re glad you’re bringing it before God. Wanting a man to see your worth, to feel a genuine spark, and to build something lasting isn’t wrong, it’s deeply human. But as we lean into your request with you, the strongest thread we notice is your longing for him to prioritize you and for a specific future to unfold. That’s a heavy weight to place on a new relationship, and it can easily shift your eyes from the steady ground of Christ right now.

One practical step might be to pour your energy into something you can shape today: your own heart’s rest in God’s timing. When we find ourselves repeatedly asking God to move someone else’s heart, we sometimes miss the quiet work He wants to do in ours first, deepening our contentment, our discernment, and our trust that His best never arrives late. You’ve named many hopes: marriage, a family united, a way to America. Those are big. Rather than chasing all of them at once, perhaps gently hold before the Lord the one thing most personal to you right now, and let the rest sit with Him. Your boys will feel your peace.

We’re praying for you, not that God would force a spark, but that He’d give you clarity and protect you from a heart too far ahead of your feet. It’s okay to be excited and unsure at the same time.

Father, thank you for this daughter’s open heart. She has laid deep longings before you, and you do not despise them. Quiet her soul, we ask, with the certainty that you see her, you see her boys, and you are crafting a story better than she can orchestrate. Grant her steadiness, not to seize a future, but to walk forward with you in each small step. Guard her heart from anxiety and from clutching outcomes. We ask for your very best, in your time, in your way, and for your peace to be her anchor. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Is it not foolish for a person to feel that she can do as she likes and that everything will fall out as she desires, that she can both propose and dispose, and has not to ask God's consent at all? You say, “I will,” and “I will,” and “I will.” You pray, “Make me his priority. Stir a romance. Let him declare his love. Shape him into a provider. Make a way for him to visit.” But listen to the Word of the Lord: “You ought to say, If the Lord wills, we shall live, and do this, or that.”

Remember this: as surely as God’s will is the axle of the universe and the very heart of providence, so in grace let us rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. Salvation is of God’s will. The preservation, the perseverance, the resurrection, and the eternal glory of His people all rest upon His will. You cannot conquer the Holy Spirit or make the blood of Christ of no effect by your own determinations.

There is a revealed will which you must not violate, and it speaks plainly about the nature of a godly union. If this man is to be a husband and a stepfather, it must be according to God’s order, a covenant of one man and one woman, a lifelong marriage, with purity preceding it. You may lay your desires before the throne of grace, but do you not also pray with Christ, “Not as I will, but as You will”? The child of God can indeed say, “Father, I will,” with holy boldness, but only when that will is nothing else but God’s will. And the true child always bends, saying, “Not as I will. Yes, I would like thus, but if my Father forbids, then I do not want it, and I will not touch it.”

Hear God’s Word as God’s Word, and keep it. The blessedness lies not in obtaining every wish, but in hearing and obeying. If you would attain blessedness, receive the Word, lay it up in your soul, and obey it. When you feel you are doing God’s will, you are supremely happy, even if you are ill, even if you are feeble, even if your earthly prospects seem to die. He that hears the Word of God shall never see death.

You pray for a united family. But what is your deepest need? It is to be numbered among God’s people. The ungodly have no blessed promises. The treasures of the saints are not in ready money but in promises to pay, promises which God has made. Will you be one to whom He says, “You are My people,” so that you can answer, “You are my God”? That comes only through Jesus Christ. He is the only refuge, the only hope. If you are found in Him, a jewel in His hand, then all things are yours, but if not, all your planning is a chasing of the wind.

Examine yourself, for you will be cross-examined. Providence will try you. A crushing misfortune may befall you. How is it then? Can you trust Him when He withholds or delays? If you have truly learned to pray, you will combine the two prayers: “I will,” yet “Not as I will.” The sure way to carry out self-will is when self-will is nothing else but God’s will. Oh, that you would learn this mighty power with Him in prayer! It will not be given without much close fellowship with Him. Do what He wills, and He may say, “Rise, My child, ask what you will, and I will give it to you.”

But mark you, you are not God’s child unless you can also say, “Father, not as I will.” Bend before His will. If He gives this relationship and this future, take it with trembling joy. If He withholds it, trust that He does all things well. Do not be like those who say, “We will go, we will buy, we will sell,” and never ask God’s consent. Commit this and all things into His hands, saying, “Do what You will with me.” Then you shall have peace, and you shall be a true witness for Him, whatever comes.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out desires for a man to be shaped to your specifications: a provider, a stepfather, a partner who makes you his priority and declares love openly. But consider whether you are first shaping yourself into a bride worthy of a spiritual marriage. The union that Scripture calls great is not one of passion or fleshly spark, but of soul cleaving to God. A wife who seeks Christ above all becomes a helper suitable for that mystery, not one who designs her husband like an architect ordering a house.

Do you not see the disorder? You ask God to touch another's heart while your own heart is tangled in the threads of worldly security, a visa, a new life in America. The love of money, like a thick humor collected on the eye, blinds the soul. When you dream of a provider, let it be a soul that provides first the fear of God, not a convenient path across the sea. Clothe yourself with almsgiving and prayer, not with the heavy chains of longing for gold or a certain station.

Study the blessed Paul. He loved the Romans with great longing, yet he refused to see them contrary to what seemed good to God. He prayed repeatedly, and when his request was delayed, he did not repine. Are you better than Paul, that you should dictate the time and manner of God's answer? To love truly is not to engineer another's heart according to your list, but to commit all to the potter's hand and follow wherever He leads, even if He leads away from this man.

You speak much of his heart and mind, yet you say little of your own renewal. The Apostle commands that we be renewed in the spirit of our mind. Whoever has the Spirit will perform no old deed, no grasping after a man as a means to comfort. Before you ask God to make you a priority in another's life, make God your own priority. Let the fire of holy desire burn in you, not the flame that fades when you leave this prayer.

Be humane, be sober. If this relationship is of God, it will grow in the soil of patience and chastity, not in the urgency of romantic spark or declarations for your ears. Wait on the Lord without demanding signs or timelines. For the true marriage is honorable when both come to it with bodies and souls undefiled, with fear of God greater than desire, and with wills bent to the one thing needful: the kingdom of heaven.
