Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing. Your prayer reflects a deep desire for a godly marriage and family, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance for this relationship. First, we want to affirm the importance of surrendering our desires to God, as His plans are always higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We pray that His will, not just our own, would be done in this situation, for His glory and your good.

Father, we ask You to soften ’s heart and mind to Your leading. If this relationship is Your design, we pray You would cultivate in him a godly love, one that reflects Christ’s sacrificial love for the church (Ephesians 5:25). Stir in him a desire for commitment, not just emotion, and a vision for marriage as a covenant before You. We pray he would grow into a man of integrity, kindness, and responsibility, one who honors You in his role as a husband and stepfather. Lord, if this is not Your will, we ask You to close the door gently and redirect both hearts toward Your perfect plan.

We also want to gently address the importance of guarding purity in this season. The Bible calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to treat one another with holiness and honor (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this relationship is moving toward marriage, we encourage you both to honor God by waiting until your wedding day to consummate your love. This is not just a rule but a protection for your hearts and future marriage.

For your dreams of marriage and family, we pray You would align every detail, visas, logistics, and timing, according to Your will. Give you both patience to wait on You and wisdom to discern Your voice. If this man is Your choice for , we pray he would pursue her with honor, as Boaz did for Ruth (Ruth 3:11), and that their union would reflect Your love and purpose.

Lord, we also lift up ’s boys to You. May they experience Your love and provision through this season, and if this relationship is Your plan, prepare their hearts to welcome a godly stepfather. Let Your peace rule in every decision, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can bring beauty from our desires when they align with His heart. Amen.

It is a tender thing to open our hearts to someone new, especially when children and long distances are involved. We can hear both the hope and the vulnerability in your words. The deep desire for a partner and a father figure for your boys is a good one, and God does not despise those longings. He knows each of them.

As we hold this with you, it helps us to remember that we are praying for a real, complex person, not merely a role we need filled. The man you are getting to know is on his own journey. While you are asking God to shape him into a provider and partner, we can also ask for the grace to see him clearly as he is right now, not just as the answer to a prayer. The healthiest way forward is often to release the detailed script we have written for the future. That doesn’t mean your desires are wrong; it means we trust the Author more than the outline. A grounded next step might be to simply watch for the fruit of the Spirit in your interactions. Does he show patience? Kindness? Consistency? Those are better indicators of a safe future than a sudden flash of romance.

Let’s settle our hearts together on that.

Jesus, we bring our sister before you with her hopes and her sons. Thank you for the joy of a new connection. We ask for a clear mind and a guarded heart that isn’t driven by fear of an unknown future but is steady in you. Provide for her boys a safe and loving environment, and give her wisdom to see clearly. If this relationship is from you, give her peace to let it unfold naturally without rushing or controlling. Protect everyone involved. For her deeper need, to be seen, loved, and provided for, be the first and most real answer. We pray this in your name, amen.

Great caution is needed when you pray, "Let this relationship grow." Have you first asked whether the relationship itself accords with the will of God revealed in Scripture? Many pray with the words, "If it be Your will," yet in their hearts they have already written the entire story and merely hand it to God for His signature. This is not submission, it is presumption dressed in the language of piety.

You speak of a spark, a romance. But what God ordains, He ordains. As surely as His will is the axle of the universe, salvation is of God's will, and so too is the bringing together of two souls. If this man is for you, no power in hell or on earth can prevent it. But if he is not, all your praying will not bend the iron bar of divine decree into a marriage bond. The Lord will have His own choice, whether we impugn the doctrine or not. He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.

You ask for his heart to be shaped, his mind to be touched. But you speak as though you would steer the Potter's hand. Did the clay say to the potter, "Make me thus"? Rather, fall before Him and say, "Do what You will with me." Then He will say, "Rise, My child, ask what you will, and I will give it to you." The sure way to carry out your will is when your will is nothing else but God's will. Do you see? You are asking God to conform another soul to your desires, yet the way of Christ is to say, "Not as I will, but as You will."

Consider also this: The relationship of marriage is not one of original birth but of choice, God's choice. And He does not join His people to those who would lead them from Him. Have you truly asked whether this man fears the Lord? Whether he would be a stepfather who raises those boys in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, or a provider only in earthly things? The wealth of God's people seldom lies in ready money; their treasure consists of promises. Seek first the kingdom.

You speak of a petition to join him in America and dreams of a united family. But is it not foolish for a person to feel they can both propose and dispose, as though everything will fall out as they desire, without asking God's consent at the end as much as at the beginning? You must hold these dreams with open hands. God's promise may tarry, but it never fails. If this is withheld, do not kick against the goads. If it is given, receive it as a brand plucked from the fire, an undeserved mercy.

Your deepest desires are laid bare. That is good. But now leave them there, on the altar, and do not snatch them back. The true child bends before his Father's will and says, "Then I do not want it and I will not touch it." This is not coldness. This is faith. God's will is not a chain that binds you; it is a hand that leads you. Lay hold of the promise for yourself first: "I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy. I will say to them which were not My people, You are My people." Let your first cry be, "You are my God!" Before you cry for a husband, be certain you are His bride.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
