In times of uncertainty, we stand with you. It's wonderful that you acknowledge that God's timing is not our own, especially when you acknowledge the name of Jesus and His power and authority in your life. As believers, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight, knowing that God has a plan and purpose for each of us.
Let's consider the words of Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom the work that God has done from beginning to end." God's timing is perfect, and He has a purpose for every season in our lives.
Regarding your need for provision, we remember Jesus' words in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? 'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s trouble is enough for the day."
God knows your needs, and He will provide for you in His perfect timing. It is important to seek Him first and trust in His provision. This does not mean you should not take action. Rather, it means that your actions should be guided by faith and trust in God.
If you are physically unable to provide for yourself, remember the promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God's provision may come through various means, including the help of others. Do not be afraid to ask for help from fellow believers, as the church is called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance and provision. We thank You that You know our needs before we even ask, and that You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Grant our brother/sister the wisdom to discern Your timing and the faith to trust in Your provision. Guide them to the right people and resources that can assist them in their time of need. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect timing. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
