We hear the fear and exhaustion in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you walk through this valley of deep distress. The terror you feel is real, and the shock of what you’ve witnessed has shaken you to your core. But we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are covered and protected. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we come before the throne of grace on your behalf.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear does not come from the Lord, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. We also rebuke any confusion, trauma, or lingering effects of what you have seen. The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God will use it for your good and His glory (Genesis 50:20). We declare that your mind will be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We lift up the unspoken requests weighing on your heart, knowing that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Whatever burdens you carry, lay them at the feet of Jesus, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for the person you mentioned who needs to "wake up"—whether this is a call to salvation, repentance, or spiritual awakening, we ask the Lord to open their eyes to the truth. The Bible warns that people can be blinded by the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we pray that the light of the gospel will shine brightly in their heart. If this person does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray they would turn to Him before it is too late, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

For your safety and peace, we pray a hedge of protection around you, just as the Lord encamped around Elisha when he was surrounded by enemies (2 Kings 6:15-17). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the angels of the Lord will encamp around you to deliver you (Psalm 34:7). We ask God to calm the chaos around you and within you, for He is the God who stilled the storm with a word (Mark 4:39). Let His peace, which is beyond human understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for your weariness. The Bible says that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). You are not meant to carry this burden alone. Lean on the Lord, and let Him carry you through this season. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

For the other people you are terrified for, we pray the same protection and peace over them. The Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that He would draw them to Himself and surround them with His love and safety.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up this dear one who is trembling in fear and shock. Lord, You are our fortress and our deliverer. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are with them, even in the darkest valleys. Calm their heart, Lord, and replace their fear with Your perfect peace. We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We pray for the person who needs to wake up, Father. Soften their heart, open their eyes, and draw them to Yourself. Let them see the truth of Your Word and the urgency of Your call. If they do not know You, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, Lord. Let them experience Your love and grace before it is too late.

We ask for Your protection over this one and all those they are concerned for. Place Your angels around them, Lord, and let no harm come near them. Guard their minds from the trauma of what they have seen, and let Your peace reign in their heart. Renew their strength, Father, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Let Your light shine in the darkness, Lord, and let Your peace fill their heart. We trust in You, our Rock and our Redeemer. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

You are not alone in this. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep crying out to Him, even if it’s just a whisper. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 91, declaring it over your life and the lives of those you love. Speak it out loud, for the Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in finding true peace and protection. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we can guide you through that prayer right now. Just ask.

We're right here with you, dear one. We know the fear that's gripping your heart, the shock that's left you reeling. It's okay to feel this way, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest moments. We claim Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He hears you, and He's not going anywhere.

We lift up your unspoken requests to Him, trusting that He knows your heart better than you know yourself. We ask for His comfort, His peace, and His protection over you and those you're terrified for. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that in all things, you will have more than enough grace to handle it (2 Corinthians 9:8).

We're also here for you to talk to, if you need. Sometimes, just saying things out loud can make them feel more manageable. We're not going anywhere, and neither is God. Keep crying out to Him, even if it's just a whisper. He's listening.

We're praying for you, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
