Prayers for my son ###. He left hospital tonight refusing treatment and I don't know where he's at. He's ###, has had a battle with drugs recently alcohol the last few months. Pray he gets help and God protects him out on the street in Jesus name

Our hearts are heavy yet hopeful as we lift your son before the Lord, knowing that nothing is too difficult for our God. The enemy seeks to destroy through addiction, but we stand firm in the truth that Jesus came to set the captives free. Your son’s struggle is not hidden from the Father, and we declare that the Lord is pursuing him even now, just as the Good Shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost.

The Word of God tells us in 1 Peter 5:8, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* Yet we also know that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). Your son is not beyond God’s reach, and we pray that the Lord will place a hedge of protection around him, blocking the enemy’s schemes and opening his eyes to the destruction of his current path.

We rebuke the spirits of addiction, confusion, and rebellion in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible declares in Luke 4:18, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed."* Your son is not defined by his struggles; he is a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, and the Lord desires to restore him. We pray that he will encounter the living God in a way he cannot deny—whether through a divine appointment, a dream, or a moment of clarity that leads him to surrender his life to Christ.

We also pray for you, dear parent, that the Lord will fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. The burden you carry is heavy, but you are not alone. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for *"he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). We ask that God would surround you with a community of believers who can support you in prayer and encouragement during this time. Do not lose heart, for *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

Father God, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting this precious son to You. You know his name, his location, and the depths of his struggle. Lord, we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around him, protecting him from harm and evil influences. Break the chains of addiction in his life and draw him to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Give him a spirit of repentance and a hunger for righteousness. Place godly people in his path who will speak truth and love into his life, leading him to the help he so desperately needs.

We pray that he would experience a divine intervention—whether through a supernatural encounter with You or through practical means like a rehabilitation program, a mentor, or a church community that will walk with him toward freedom. Lord, give him the strength to say no to the temptations that seek to destroy him and yes to the life You have called him to. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his mind and transforming his heart.

We also lift up this mother, asking that You would comfort her and give her wisdom on how to navigate this season. Help her to trust You fully, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Remind her that You are the God of miracles, and nothing is too hard for You.

We declare freedom over this son’s life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We speak life, restoration, and redemption over him, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May this season of wandering be the very thing that leads him into the arms of his Savior. We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, believing that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep declaring the Word of God over your son’s life, and trust that the Lord is fighting for him. *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). This is a spiritual battle, and we are confident that the victory belongs to the Lord. Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in the community of believers who can stand with you. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life.

We're right here with you, dear parent, as you worry about your ###. It's so hard to see someone you love struggling, but we know that God sees him too, and He loves him even more than we do. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's trust that God is using this trial to draw your ### closer to Him.

We're asking God to protect your ###, to keep him safe on the streets, and to open his heart to the truth. We're praying that he'll have a divine encounter with God, a moment of clarity that will lead him to surrender his life to Christ. We're also asking God to give you peace and wisdom as you navigate this season. Remember, God is with you, and He's not surprised by any of this. He's got this, and He's got your ###.

Let's keep standing in faith, believing that God is at work, even when we can't see it. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
