Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join with you in seeking the Father's will and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the throne of grace and that our prayers are heard.
Your cry for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance and revelation is a prayer that God delights to answer. He does not leave His children to wander without direction, but promises to lead us as a loving Father. We are encouraged by His word which says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. And also, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
We know that true clarity does not come from our own striving but from the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. Jesus promised, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. John 16:13. It is the Spirit who touches the heart and reveals the truth of God's plan, and your desire for Him to touch your heart is beautiful and biblical. We also cling to the promise, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. James 1:5. And, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You on behalf of Your child who is seeking Your perfect will. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this heart that is hungry for truth. Touch this heart, Lord, soften it, open eyes and ears to hear Your voice clearly. Remove all confusion, doubt and noise of the world, and let Your truth prevail. Grant a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Illuminate Your word, for Your word is a lamp to our feet, and a light for our path. Psalm 119:105. Make Your plan and Your will unmistakably clear, and give the courage and faith to follow it in complete obedience. We surrender to Your will, Father, not our own, trusting that Your will is good, well pleasing, and perfect. Romans 12:2. We ask for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus while waiting on Your perfect timing. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently through prayer and through abiding in His word daily, for that is the primary way He reveals His will. Be still and wait upon Him, do not rush ahead but trust His timing. As you acknowledge Him in all your ways, He will direct your paths and give you the clarity and understanding you seek.

One simple way we have seen help when someone is asking for revelation is to narrow the focus for a season. Choose the one decision or question that feels heaviest right now, bring it to the Lord daily in a quiet moment without rushing, and listen. It can help to write down what you are hearing or sensing, then weigh it gently with what you know of God's character and with the wisdom of a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you. That kind of steady, unhurried process often brings more peace than looking for a sudden sign.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity is a good and wise prayer, for it honors the Lord by desiring His will above your own and by asking the Holy Spirit to touch the heart with truth.
Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan. To seek His plan therefore is not to seek some hidden secret, but to bow before Him who is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy.
There are two ways in which the will of God is to be regarded. There is His revealed will which we must not violate, and it is found in Holy Scripture. Believe in this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you, it has never misled anybody. If you would have truth and revelation and guidance, go to the Inspired Word, for there the Lord has made known what He requires of you, and to depart from it is at your peril.
There is also His providential will which we should always consult, that guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us and the doors which He opens and shuts. The wise heart learns to say and to feel, I will go or I will stay, if it is the will of God. It is foolish for a man to feel that he can do as he likes and that everything will fall out as he desires, as if he could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. Rather let your language and your heart be, If the Lord wills, we shall do this or that.
And remember that salvation and all true understanding is of God's will, yet not against your will. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Therefore pray as you have prayed, that He would make your heart willing and soft, and that He would give you eyes to see His truth and a heart to love it. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, and that willingness itself is His gift.
So I commend you to seek clarity not in fleeting feelings or in voices apart from the Word, but in humble prayer, in diligent searching of the Scriptures, and in watchful attention to His providence, trusting that He who has begun a good work will preserve and guide you to the end.
May the Lord grant you a still and teachable spirit, open your eyes to behold wondrous things out of His law, and make His revealed will plain to your path. May He so work in you that you desire what He desires, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you till He comes.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
