Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, asking for His divine wisdom and clarity concerning His perfect will for your life. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is beautiful that you are seeking God’s plan with such sincerity, for He delights in revealing His truth to those who earnestly seek Him.
Father, we ask that You touch this dear one’s heart with Your truth, just as Your Word declares in John 16:13, "However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming." Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation, removing any confusion, doubt, or deception that may cloud their understanding. Reveal Your will with clarity, Lord, so that they may walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life.
We also lift up the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that this truth would take deep root in their heart, that they would know Jesus not just as a name but as their Lord and Savior, the One who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life.
Lord, we ask that You give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, as Ephesians 1:17-18 says, "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." Open their spiritual eyes, Father, so they may see Your plan unfolding in their life with divine clarity.
If there are areas where they may be struggling to align with Your will, whether in relationships, decisions, or personal desires, we ask that You convict their heart gently but firmly. Help them to surrender anything that does not align with Your Word, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). If they are in a relationship that does not honor You, whether through premarital intimacy, an unequally yoked partnership, or any other ungodly dynamic, we pray for Your intervention. Strengthen them to walk in purity and holiness, for Your Word commands us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."
Father, we also rebuke any spirit of fear or uncertainty that may be hindering them from stepping fully into Your plan. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that they are equipped with everything they need to walk in Your purpose, for You have not called them to confusion but to clarity and peace.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). May Your will be done in their life, Father, just as it is in heaven. Strengthen them, guide them, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the hunger in your words for truth you can trust and direction you can follow. Wanting clarity and revelation and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart is a good and honest prayer, and we are glad you brought it to the Father so plainly.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity is itself a gracious sign, for it shows a heart that desires not its own way but the will of the Father, and that says from the soul, Your will be done.
Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. It is wise and humble to say, and to feel in the heart even when not spoken, I will go or I will stay, if it is the will of God. There is a revealed will of God which we must not violate, and it is found in the Inspired Word from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. Believe it, for it will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your condition before God, what you are to believe and what you are to do. There is also a providential will which we should consult with the guidance that comes from the circumstances that surround us. Bring both together, and you will find direction.
You ask for truth and revelation and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart. Be not content unless you get the truth from the mouth of God. Say in your spirit, I will not be comforted unless God Himself shall comfort me, and I want chapter and verse for what I receive. Buy the truth and sell it not. Bring everything that is proposed as truth to the test, to the trial of God's Word. If it will not stand the fire of Scripture, do not buy it. There is no place where truth can be found in its power and life except in Jesus Christ. Truth is in His blood to wash away what is false in you, and truth is in His Spirit to make you true by conforming you to Himself.
Remember also that the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. So come to the Savior present with us by His Spirit and tell Him plainly what you desire. He will hear you and attend to your cry. You are not omniscient and therefore your will can never be wiser than His, but you are His child and therefore your desire shall be very prevalent with Him. Ask what you will according to His Word, and let the riches of His glory rather than the meanness of your own estate measure the compass of your requests.
If you have laid hold of the truth of God's salvation you believe in a real fall, a real atonement in Christ, and a real pardon that is permanent and will never fade. That truth operates most powerfully upon the mind and proves itself real, even in testing times when you can still say, The Lord is my portion, therefore will I hope in Him. God's promise may tarry, but it never fails.
I pray for you that the Lord will give you a clear eye to see His revealed will in Scripture, a submissive heart to accept His providential dealings, and a steady faith to rest in Christ in whom all truth dwells. May He make you willing to do His will, keep you from error, and cause His Word to dwell richly in you, that you may know what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide you, to keep you, and to establish you in every good word and work until He brings you safely to Himself.

Your prayer for understanding, clarity and truth is good and God hears it. The desire to say Your will be done, Father, is itself the beginning of wisdom, for it shows a heart that wants to be led rather than to lead itself.
Scripture tells us that Christ is the true Light which enlightens every person who comes into the world, and there is no other source of true revelation apart from Him. God has hidden these things from those who think themselves wise in their own eyes, and has revealed them to those who come as little children, humble and teachable. So continue to come in humility, asking not only for a feeling or a sign, but for the light of Christ to shine through His Word. Read the Scriptures daily, pray with a sincere heart, and remain faithful in the life God has already shown you to live, for signs come to an end but faith, hope and love remain.
Remember also that we need both prayer and our own faithful effort. Grace does not set aside obedience, and obedience does not replace grace. As you pray for guidance, also walk in what you already know to be right, giving thanks for the blessings you have and for the blessings of others, keeping fellowship with the church and practicing charity toward all. In this way your heart is kept soft and ready to receive what God shows you.
I pray for you now that the Holy Spirit will touch your heart with truth, calm every confusion, and grant you clear understanding of the path God would have you walk. May He give you peace to trust His timing, courage to obey what He reveals, and full confidence that through Jesus Christ alone we have remission of sins, adoption and eternal life. May the Father's will be done in your life as it is in heaven, and may you be led step by step into that good and perfect will, in Jesus name.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity is exactly the kind of prayer God loves to answer. He is not trying to hide His will from you. The very word that is used for Gods revelation means an unveiling, a taking off of the wraps, not a sealing up. What He wants to show you above all else is Jesus Christ Himself.
That is the heart of how God guides. The central character of all revelation is Jesus. You come to know Gods plan as you come to know Him more clearly, how He relates to His people, how He watches over His church, and how He will reign as King. When your eyes are on Him, guidance becomes clearer because you begin to see life from His perspective.
God has always made His truth known through clear means. To John He sent an angel and He allowed elders to speak and Jesus Himself spoke, so that what was shown was not left in confusion. In the same way today He speaks to you through His written Word and by His Holy Spirit. The Spirit was not given to leave you in the dark but to open your heart to truth, to take what belongs to Jesus and make it real to you.
And His greatest purpose for your life is not just to give you information about the next step, but to shape you into the likeness of Christ. The work of the Spirit is to conform you to the image of Jesus so that you begin to respond as He responds, to love as He loves and to forgive as He forgave, to be His representative and a faithful witness of what He is like. As that work goes on in you, many decisions become clearer because your heart is learning to want what He wants.
So keep bringing this request before the Father in the name of Jesus, just as you have prayed, Your will be done. Keep His Word before you and do not turn away from His name, even in small things. Ask the Holy Spirit daily to touch your heart with truth and to help you walk as Jesus walked.
