Any search for purpose that leaves that out will only lead to dead ends. The world offers false hopes, but fulfillment is only found as your life brings joy to His heart. And His purpose for you, day by day, is to conform you into the image of Jesus Christ, to shape your responses, your loves, your forgiveness, until you reflect Him more and more. That is His overarching design, and every circumstance is a tool in His hand.
When you ask for guidance, remember that God often directs His children by the doors He opens and closes. Do not mistake a shut door for a setback; often it is His protection and redirection. And never try to force open what His wisdom has shut. The steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord. There are no true coincidences when His hand is on your life. He is watching over you, weaving even the hard things into a plan that is good, because He is intent on redeeming every part of you. The Holy Spirit Himself has been given to you as a seal, a down payment and guarantee that He will finish what He started.

Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” That truth is not just information; it is a Person. When you see Him more clearly, you see everything else rightly.
