Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We hear your heart’s cry for understanding, clarity, and truth as you seek God’s will for your life. The longing to know His plan is a sacred desire, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to illuminate your path with divine revelation. The Word of God tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). This is not a promise of an easy journey, but of a guided one, one where the Lord directs your steps when you surrender to His wisdom.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You touch this dear one’s heart with Your truth. Remove every veil of confusion, doubt, or fear that may cloud their understanding of Your perfect will. Open their spiritual eyes to see as You see, their ears to hear Your voice clearly, and their heart to receive Your guidance without hesitation. Your Word declares, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Let every Scripture they read and every prayer they lift be a lamp unto their feet, leading them into the purpose You have ordained.
We also pray for discernment, Lord. In a world filled with voices, some well-meaning, others deceptive, grant them the wisdom to distinguish Your voice from all others. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27 WEB). May they recognize Your leading with certainty, and may their steps align with Your Word. If there are areas where they have strayed from Your truth, whether in relationships, decisions, or priorities, convict their heart gently but firmly, and draw them back to Your ways.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, or delay that would seek to hinder their understanding of Your plan. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Your will is not hidden from those who seek You with a sincere heart.
If there is any unrepentant sin in their life, whether in thought, word, or deed, we ask that You bring it to light so it can be confessed and forsaken. The Bible warns us, "If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened" (Psalm 66:18 WEB). But if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray for a spirit of humility and repentance, that nothing would stand between them and the fullness of Your blessing.
For those who may not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we must emphasize that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first and most important step in understanding God’s plan for your life.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. The psalmist wrote, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10 WEB). In the stillness, reveal Your will. In the waiting, strengthen their faith. And in the journey, let them walk hand in hand with You, their Good Shepherd, who leads them beside still waters and restores their soul (Psalm 23:2-3 WEB).
We declare over them today: "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). May they walk in the fullness of that promise, trusting that Your plans are perfect, Your timing is flawless, and Your love never fails. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful, honest cry of your heart. We hear in those words a deep longing not just for direction, but to truly know and rest in God’s own plan, not someone else’s, not even your own best idea, but His. If you truly seek the truth of God’s plan, begin here: believe in a real Fall. You who have really transgressed, you are the men and women for whom there is Truth in God's salvation, but, if there is no truth in your sinnership, there is, to you, no Truth in Christ's salvation. You have not learned the Truth of God's salvation if you do not believe in a real Atonement. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin! True faith brings to us a real pardon. If you have received the Truth of God's salvation, you are really forgiven.
Cry out for the Spirit to unstop your ears that you may hear every syllable of the Truth of God gladly, cheerfully, retentively. The revelation you need is not a new whisper but the mighty voice of God in His Word. Believe in this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you! It will tell you the truth as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do. God has never given liberty to your thought or to your understanding to be free from His government.
Yet beware how you handle truth. Some push a truth too far and magnify one capital truth till it becomes monstrous, minifying another till it is forgotten. Truth has thus suffered on all sides. Let the riches of God's Glory, rather than the meanness of your own estate, measure the compass of your requests when He says, "What do you want Me to do for you?" Sinner though you are, if you come beneath the Cross and trustingly look up to God's dear Son, you shall be saved! Look into His side and see the sacred mystery of God's hatred for sin, a hatred so deep that He spared not His own Son.
And if you would know His will, then cast in your lot with God’s people as well as with Himself. They are a people that dwell alone, not numbered among the nations. Sanctification is the great open separator of Christians from the world. Speak the Truth of God in your life, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth. Do not draw a miserable face and say, "God's people are a blessed people," for then your life gives the lie to your lips. It is decision for Christ and His Truth that has the greatest power. The whole end to which we drive is this, may God enable you to see that your salvation is in Him! He has taught you from your youth; will He now put you to shame?
