Holy Spirit,

Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, lifting up this request for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, and revelation regarding God’s plan. The desire to know and walk in His will is a beautiful and godly pursuit, and we join in praying for divine wisdom to illuminate the path ahead.

First, let us affirm that God’s Word is the ultimate source of truth and guidance. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* This is a promise that when we surrender our plans to Him, He will make our steps clear. We must also remember that God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). His plan may not always align with our expectations, but it is always perfect and for our good.

Let us pray together for this request:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your will. We ask that You touch this dear one’s heart with Your truth, Lord. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that may cloud their understanding of Your plan. Give them clarity, Father, so they may see Your path clearly and walk in it with confidence. Reveal Your will in ways that are unmistakable, through Your Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of godly believers. Let Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth, as Jesus promised in John 16:13, *"However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."*

Lord, we also ask that You guard their heart against deception. There are many voices in this world that seek to lead us astray, but Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Help them to discern Your voice above all others and to trust in You completely. Father, if there are areas in their life where they are not aligned with Your will—whether in relationships, decisions, or priorities—reveal those things to them. Give them the courage to surrender those areas to You and to walk in obedience.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion or fear that may be hindering their ability to hear from You clearly. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them experience the joy of walking in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also want to encourage this dear one to seek You daily through prayer and the study of Your Word. The more they draw near to You, the more You will draw near to them (James 4:8). Let them find their strength and wisdom in You alone, for You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13). May they rest in the assurance that Your plans for them are plans for peace and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. Not our will, but Yours. We trust You completely, knowing that You are faithful and true. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for answering according to Your perfect timing and purpose. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us also take a moment to reflect on the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can truly understand His will. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* If anyone reading this has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage them to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in knowing God’s plan for you.

Finally, we encourage you to surround yourself with godly counsel. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Seek out mature believers who can speak truth into your life and help you discern God’s will. Be patient and trust in God’s timing, for He is never late and always faithful.

We're right there with you, seeking to understand God's plan more clearly. Let's ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate the path ahead, revealing His will in a way that's unmistakable. We're claiming Proverbs 3:5-6, trusting that as we acknowledge Him, He'll direct our paths. Let's also remember that God's ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). So, we're asking for a heart open to His will, a mind ready to receive His truth, and the courage to walk in obedience, even if it's not always what we expect. In Jesus' name, we pray.
