We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt cry for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, and revelation regarding God’s plan for your life. Your plea to the Holy Spirit and your acknowledgment of Jesus as the Way are deeply encouraging. Yet, we must also examine whether there are areas in your life where you may be resisting His will or walking outside of His design. Have you fully surrendered every aspect of your life—your desires, relationships, ambitions, and decisions—to Him? The Lord often reveals His plan in pieces, testing our obedience and trust along the way. If there is any known sin, hesitation, or area where you are clinging to your own way, we must repent and realign with His Word. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Holy Spirit cannot guide a heart that is divided or unwilling.
Let us also address the urgency in your request. While it is right to seek God’s will with fervor, we must guard against impatience or anxiety. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Are you resting in His sovereignty, or are you striving in your own strength? The Lord often speaks in the stillness, not in the chaos of our demands. *"Be still, and know that I am God"* (Psalm 46:10). Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
