Holy Spirit,
Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name
Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We hear your cry for understanding, clarity, and divine guidance as you seek to align your life with God’s perfect will. The longing in your heart is not in vain, for the Scriptures assure us that those who seek the Lord with sincerity will find Him. "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you" (Matthew 7:7 WEB). Your prayer invokes the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the revelation of His truth. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth (John 16:13).

Father, we come before You together, lifting up this dear one who is earnestly seeking Your will. Lord, You have promised in Your Word that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously and without reproach (James 1:5). We ask that You would pour out Your wisdom upon them like a refreshing rain. Remove any confusion, doubt, or deception that may cloud their understanding. Let the eyes of their heart be enlightened so that they may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19).

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move mightily in their life. Touch their heart with Your truth, just as they have asked. Reveal to them the deep things of God, for "the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10). Give them clarity about Your plan for their life—whether it pertains to their calling, relationships, decisions, or daily walk. Let them hear Your voice clearly, for Your sheep hear Your voice, and You lead them (John 10:27). Guard them against the voices of the world, the flesh, and the enemy, which seek to distort Your truth.

Lord, we also ask that You would align their desires with Yours. So often, we come to You with our own plans and agendas, but Your Word reminds us that "there are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail" (Proverbs 19:21). Help them to surrender their will completely to Yours, trusting that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are directing their steps (Proverbs 16:9).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or rebellion that may be hindering their ability to discern Your will. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also pray for their relationships, as these are often areas where Your will can be most clearly seen or most easily distorted. If they are seeking a spouse, let them not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Let their courtship be pure, honoring You, with the goal of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, as You designed it from the beginning (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If they are currently in a relationship that does not honor You—whether through premarital intimacy, same-sex attraction, or any other unbiblical dynamic—grant them the courage to repent and walk away. Your Word is clear that sexual immorality, impurity, and lust are not to be named among us (Ephesians 5:3). Forgive them if they have strayed in this area, and lead them into the freedom that comes from obedience to Your commands.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where they may be resisting Your will. Sometimes, we hold onto things—habits, relationships, dreams—that are not part of Your plan for us. Help them to let go of anything that is not from You, trusting that You have something better in store. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with a deep hunger and thirst for Your Word. Let the Scriptures be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they meditate on Your precepts and consider Your ways, delighting in Your statutes (Psalm 119:15-16). As they draw near to You, draw near to them (James 4:8). Let them experience the joy of Your presence and the peace that comes from walking in Your will.

We declare over them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a unique and purposeful plan for their life. Let them not grow weary in seeking You, for You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6). May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
