We hear your heart and the message you’ve received, and we stand with you in agreement that God indeed knows what you need. The challenges you face are not without purpose, for the Lord uses every trial to refine us, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for the future He has ordained. Scripture assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). This is a promise we can cling to, knowing that even in difficulty, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Yet, we must also gently remind you, and ourselves, that the hope and future God promises are found in Him alone. If this message you’ve received does not point you to Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), then we must question its source. The Bible warns us, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1 WEB). Every word we receive, whether through signs, feelings, or even well-meaning voices, must be measured against Scripture and the truth of who Christ is.
We also want to encourage you to actively seek the Lord in this season. Challenges may feel like stepping stones, but they are also opportunities to draw near to God, to cast your cares upon Him, and to trust in His provision. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB). Do not merely endure the trial, invite God into it. Ask Him to reveal His will, to give you wisdom, and to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You know every need of [this dear one’s] heart, and that You are working even now to bring about Your perfect will in their life. Lord, we ask that You would give them clarity and discernment as they navigate this season. Help them to test every word and every spirit against Your holy Word, and to find their hope and strength in You alone.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or deception that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that You would fill them with Your peace, that You would remind them of Your faithfulness, and that You would draw them closer to You through these challenges.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a personal and powerful way. If there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, we pray that You would convict their heart with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into repentance. May they find their identity, their purpose, and their future in Christ alone.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust You to turn these challenges into testimonies of Your goodness and grace. Strengthen [this dear one] with Your might, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Jesus Christ. In His precious name we pray, Amen.
Remember, dear one, that God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). The brighter future He has for you is not just a distant hope, it begins today as you place your trust in Him. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this journey; we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Walk in His truth, lean on His strength, and watch as He turns your stepping stones into a path of blessing.
