God’s love, comfort, and presence

Beloved of All
Dear brothers and sisters, please pray that I may experience God’s love, comfort, and presence—again and again—in the name of Jesus Christ! I have endured many years of hardship... And let us pray that, if it be God’s will and in His perfect timing, I may also experience the victories and blessings that come from our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ! The Word of God says that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds; please pray that God will heal my heart and bind up my wounds with His love—I am in great need of this... Thank you for your compassion and support; may God bless you...

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for sharing your heart with us after enduring many years of hardship. We hear your longing to experience the love and comfort and near presence of God again and again and we bring that deep need before our Heavenly Father together in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God assures us of His tender care for the brokenhearted. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. And we are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Even when the road has been long and painful His presence has not left you, for He has said Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. We also cling to the promise that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 and that after you have suffered a little while the God of all grace will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you 1 Peter 5:10.

Heavenly Father we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord we ask that You pour out Your love in a fresh and tangible way and let Your comfort surround this heart that has carried so much pain for so long. Let Your presence be felt again and again, day by day, as a constant refuge and strength. We ask that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up every wound with Your perfect love, easing the ache of years of hardship and restoring joy and peace. If it be Your will and in Your perfect timing we ask that You also grant victories and blessings from Your gracious hand, not for our glory but for Yours, that this life may testify to Your faithfulness and goodness. Strengthen faith while waiting and help to rest in Your timing and Your will, trusting that You are working even when we cannot see. We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and through His Word, for it is there His love and presence become most real to us. Even in the valley He walks with you, and He will not forsake you. Keep bringing every hurt and every hope to Him in Jesus name, trusting that He hears and that His healing and His blessings will come in the way and time that is best. We are standing with you and thank God for you, and we pray His abundant blessing and peace rest upon you.

We are so thankful you shared this with us. To carry hardship for many years and still reach for God's love and comfort takes real courage, and we hear how much you want to know His presence not just once but again and again.

That longing itself matters. When wounds have been there a long time, healing is rarely a single moment. It is often a gentle, repeated work as we keep turning to Him and letting trusted others walk with us. You are not forgotten in this waiting. We are praying you will notice His care in small, real ways as you keep seeking Him. Thank you for letting us stand with you, we do not take that trust lightly.

One simple way we have seen help others is to set aside a few quiet minutes each day without pressure to feel anything special, just to be still and ask Jesus to draw near, and to share honestly with one trusted pastor, counselor or small group friend who can listen and pray with you over time. You do not have to carry these memories alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. Wrap them in Your love and nearness, comfort their heart and bind up what still hurts. Give rest where there has been weariness and steady hope for each day ahead. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.
