God's intervention
We understand your struggles, ###, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in your life and family. Let us first address your job situation. The Bible tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). Even in difficult circumstances, we are called to serve God with our whole heart. Nevertheless, it is right to seek a change if the environment is becoming unbearable. We pray that God opens new doors of opportunity for you, that He gives you favor in the eyes of potential employers, and that He leads you to a job that aligns with His will and purpose for your life.
Lord, we ask you to guide ### in his career. Provide him with a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to serve You and bring glory to Your name. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Regarding your brother, we acknowledge the power of addiction, but we know that the power of the Holy Spirit is greater. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB). We pray that your brother turns his heart towards Jesus, that he seeks help and finds courage to overcome his addiction. We pray for complete and lasting freedom from this struggle.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to break the chains of addiction in ###'s brother's life. Give him the strength to resist temptation, and lead him to resources and people who can support him in his journey to recovery. We ask this in Your name.
For your mother, we claim God's promise of healing. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). We pray for her complete healing and restoration, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
